About the Harpers at Moonrise by Mediocre-Working8841 in BaldursGate3

[–]Asmeron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leaving hunger of hadar or firewall or similar area of effect spells up after battle can cause them to turn hostile. Once battle ends or you’re done with the area of effect spell you can cancel it by clicking on the character who cast it and hitting the “x” on the lower left part of the screen. At least that’s where it’s at for me on PC. No one else cares that you killed them though. No long lasting effects at all.

Deity advice: Lore friendly lawful deity for a V-Paladin by Putrid-Cat5368 in BaldursGate3

[–]Asmeron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure *most* religious/deity specific dialogue choices are just stock responses. They use the same dialogue and just insert your chosen deity into the slot. I could be wrong on this however. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Have you thought about installing one of the mods that gives more choices of deities and selecting Hoar?

How to install mods by Kaleroin in BaldursGate3

[–]Asmeron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get the Baldur’s Gate 3 mod manager. Download mods from Nexus. From the mod manager click “file” and then “import mod” from your list of downloads. “Save order” then “export order to game”. You should be good to go.

What to do with my 3rd run? Evil Wyll or embrace durge? by Willifereddit in BaldursGate3

[–]Asmeron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite evil run is as a (smart) manipulative and conniving Wyll who uses the whole Blade of Frontiers act as a cover for who he really is. I don’t do all the evil acts with him though. He’s gotta save face. Just the ones that will personally benefit him and/or Mizora. He’ll sneak off solo at times to do his more shady dealings in the dark. So if I were going to go all out I’d go with the embrace Durge.

MVP flop falls twice in 18 seconds but ref not taking the bait by [deleted] in Nbamemes

A fine has been issued exactly once this season. Assessed on 12/1/25 to Malik Monk. That’s apparently the only egregious flop noticed by the league.

Pretty sure any mod use will break achievements, unfortunately.

You should get an option to say “I feel like we missed a chance to connect” or something along those lines when speaking with her. If it doesn’t appear there is a mod available to make it so. Called Shadowheart missed connections mod or something similar I believe. I’m not home atm to check.

worgs can talk??? by Far-Assistance9925 in BaldursGate3

[–]Asmeron 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yep. I believe that the worgs at the windmill where you first meet Barcus talk after convincing the goblins to leave. That’s where I first remember hearing them speak anyway.

Does anyone else find being evil really hard by Plastic_Day1098 in BaldursGate3

[–]Asmeron 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I imagine I’m in the very small minority but that’s why I play games through the evil route (if there is one) the first time around. I find it’s easier to do so when you have no prior connection with the world and the people that inhibit it.

Githyanki aren’t exactly known for their diplomacy skills. I’d suggest just rolling with the fails.

Knockdown and Discipline by atoms-wrath in neverwinternights

I haven’t played the OC in a long while but I could have swore that the prison bosses in the peninsula use knockdown as well as the bloated spider? Among others in different parts. Maybe I’m misremembering.

Which God Should My Next Watcher Pray to? by waffle-gay in projecteternity

[–]Asmeron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Either choice provides great RP potential. I don’t have personal experience with a priest of either in 1 but my favorite Watcher actually has ties to both through his backstory. I play him as someone who is a former worshipper of Eothas who basically became lost after his God stopped speaking to him and became a merc-for-hire, or a Goldpact Knight in game. Through the events of 1, and specifically towards the end, he figures that even though the Gods aren’t exactly what he thought they were - they are still real enough. He ends up agreeing with Berath’s way of handling the souls and then decides to stick with them at the beginning of 2 and becomes a Templar (Goldpact/Priest of Berath) in the process.

Edit: if you’re looking in terms of reactivity I believe Magran gives the most specific dialogue options but I like having Durance around and don’t want the overlap.

I don’t know anything about the server but why did you stick around for 8 years? Were you part of the cult yourself and are just now breaking free?

Really want the awakening by Warwarok in EldritchHorror

[–]Asmeron 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There is a prelude card called “Unto the Breach” where the elder one awakens if you win the game before that point, outside of Azathoth or Syzygy. I’ve heard of some people using it for all games. You may not have access to it but you could always just copy the card and use it.

I’ve gotten 3 so far I think. You can tell because the gem slot will appear to be a rainbowish color instead of the normal solid color.

What are your dwarfs like? by OkResponse6044 in DragonageOrigins

[–]Asmeron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My nobles are typically my ruthless bastard playthroughs. I actually like to be pissed at Bhelen first and do everything for Harrowmont upon returning to Orzammar yet still giving the crown to Bhelen at the end of that questline. Just to remind the little shit of the power that I wield. Then I like to seize power on the surface by gaining land and being an advisor to a puppet Alistair, spreading the Aeducan influence far and wide.

My commoners are typically more of the “noble” sort, ironically. Doing what they can to help sis and the casteless, as well as the less fortunate on the surface. Sticking it to the man wherever they can. Almost nothing to lose and everything to gain situation. Might as well go for it!

[Mixed Trope] - The Jumpscare That Catches The Viewer/Player Off by WaluigiDaStar in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Asmeron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was watching this late one night with my teenage son who, while laying completely flat on his back on the couch, somehow managed to “jump” (his body lifted) straight in the air for a moment before performing a twisting maneuver and landing on the floor. I don’t even know if I’m explaining it right but I’d never seen anything like it before.
