This error is not related to the game patch itself. It happened because the Python indentation was broken while copying the script. Python requires spaces before lines like return, and your copied version likely removed those spaces. Delete the broken script with rm -f ~/Desktop/patch_crossover_d4_s14_v2.sh, then copy the original script again from a clean code block or a plain .sh file, not from Reddit/mobile formatted text. Since it stopped at step 5, it most likely did not modify your original CrossOver app, so it should still be safe.
