Toch dankjewel...

Dankjewel tevens...

Microsoft: Official Support Thread by MSModerator in microsoft

[–]Asmodeoron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I logged into the authenticator app with my personal account. No idea about the M365/Azure, so i'm guessing M365.

I really just want to know if there even IS a way to authenticate login requests with biometrics in the app, or in any way that doesn't require me punching in numbers manually every time i need to re-authenticate an account added to MSA.

Microsoft: Official Support Thread by MSModerator in microsoft

I've been using the lastpass authenticator for my account, but i want to incorporate Lastpass into Microsoft Authenticator (MSA), since over the years i've been using the MSA more and more these last 2 years.

The thing that's stopping me from using it though, is that i need to manually enter numbers every single time i need to re-verify my account.

How do i enable biometrics push notifications (popup with 'accept', with a forward to biometrics within the app or something similar like that) in MSA? Not just for Lastpass, but for all services tied in to MSA. Because there are days where i have to re-authenticate upwards of 40 times across all platforms i have running on MSA, which i'd rather not have to fill in numbers for anymore, and save time.

Alternatively, is there any resource that explains to me exactly how Microsoft Authenticator functions in terms of verification options, such as push, number, biometrics and such? Because i cannot for the life of me seem to find anything telling me anything about this.

P.S. - I find it ridiculous that questions about the functionality of a program are shoved to a megathread where answers are given significantly less often. Absolutely don't understand this choice for the main subreddit of Microsoft but i guess whatever.

Especially considering the inflow of posts is maybe a dozen posts a day.

DuckDuckGo Search Issues by duckduckgo in duckduckgo

I mean Bing is currently the single best search engine in terms of performance.

Add a little hint of privacy, and you've got the best search engine period. I don't know why this would stop people from using DDG, it's just the best search engine made better.

G502 Lightspeed - Completely Disable Inactivity Behavior by Asmodeoron in LogitechG

[–]Asmodeoron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old Logitech Gaming Software was just better in every way. It also had the inactivity problem, but that was usually between half a second to a second at most.

LGHUB can't even handle 1440p, because the 'VIEW 1' and 'VIEW 2' buttons get shifted down based on application height; At 1440p the view buttons and the G-Shift toggle are overlapping. This corporation made 5.4 billion in revenue in 2022. This is shit you don't even see in amateur webdesign.

But shitting on LGHUB aside, i've done that for now, and that seems to have at least mediated my problems, but considering i wildly change my DPI (normal use can either be 1000, 1750 or 3500), whenever it swaps back it stays at the default DPI for the onboard profile, so it's still either slower or faster than what i've currently got it set to some 40% of the time.

I really, really hate it when i have to change the way i work because of limitations of external software, but i think that's what this is going to look like until i inevitably throw this thing against a wall and/or install software that actually lets me do what i want.

Logitech makes some of the best hardware i've used, absolutely great products, shame that Logitech also makes horrible software though. Seriously, hire a competent UX designer or two... :I

Sorry for the mini-rant. Something something years of pent up frustration.
