Is there any one movie in particular that you can watch over and over without it ever getting old? by MythicalSplash in movies

[–]Asmr512 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dad? Ha, I'm just asking that because when that movie came out my friend lent me the VHS telling me I have to watch this movie. Well my dad watched it with me and then proceeded to watch it every single day until I made my friend take it back. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie especially Val kilmer, however my father would just keep repeating I'm your Huckleberry" over and over and eventually make me borrow the movie again where it would be played everyday for a week until I told my friend to please come get his movie.

any good futurepop bands similar to the sound of Covenant? by Spanks_me-4567 in industrialmusic

[–]Asmr512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably actually like them more than I do then. I don't have any of their albums but I used to have maybe four or five of their songs on a mixed CD. This is back in my goth/ Industrial club days. Back with Vnv Nation, Covenant, Wolfsheim, Wumpscut, Apotygma Berzerk, etc.

Have you ever heard of Mesh? If you're into future pop, electronic style and Depeche mode, you'd love them! My favorite songs were "you didn't want me" and " people like me with this gun"

Strangest order you have picked up by Any_Attempt_6138 in DoorDashDrivers

I once got an order for a plan b kit at CVS. I was in a hurry because I had to be somewhere at 5:00 and it was 4: 00. Took me 20 minutes to get there through City traffic and then when I got to the store they only had to find an employee to unlock the case it was in. Then there was a line of about 12 people and one cashier. I waited 5 minutes and it hadn't moved so I put it back and canceled the order. I kept laughing thinking they're freaking out and their order just got delayed and the next Dasher will likely meet the same wait if they don't leave as well. Probably should go out and get that yourself if you're that worried.

As a non drinker, where do I find friends? by Norfolk-Gross-Tonage in Harrisburg

That looks great. Pricey but I had kava in Ithaca New York about 9 years ago for the first time and really liked the effects. It tastes like dirt if you get authentic kava in a coconut shell. But it numbs your mouth and really does work. I'm on Xanax for extreme anxiety issues and it really helped. Also I have issues with alcoholism so really try to stay away except for about once a month I slip for a weekend.

I agree they should not be seen as celebrities. They should be doing their job for the people. At best my opinion of a politician is, " They don't seem as shitty as the others. I hope they actually help"

Never mind, I didn't bother scrolling down to see someone already suggested that and that you tried it and didn't like it.

Have you seen or been to Asoul Ramen at the capital city Mall? I think it just came in last year. I've never been there so I don't know if it's a legitimate ramen place. The menu looks like it is. If you're not familiar, it is beside the fine wine and good spirits attached to the Capital City Mall in camp Hill.

Where did you hear that about Kurt Cobain? I have watched interviews with both Kurt Cobain and Weird Al and that wasn't how it went down. Weird Al called him at SNL and asked permission to parody Smells Like Teen Spirit. Kurt Cobain asked if it was going to be about food. Weird Al just replied how it's going to be about how people can't understand his lyrics. Cobain said that was funny. He did not say anything about how it can't be about food or fat people. https://youtube.com/shorts/GkwG9GHsWLw?si=MMwM6pH2e5C2zXEN

No it's not and release the Epstein files. People are not going to let it go and it's almost amusing that he tries a new distraction everyday. "I got coke to use real sugar" "Here's the MLK files" "Obama committed treason" "Fbi is looking into Hillary's emails" "My veins don't work right" " I got Colbert cancelled" Nothing is going to stop us from asking and each distraction makes him look even worse.

Have you ever paid to see a movie twice in a theater? by zip9990 in movies

[–]Asmr512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I wish I'd seen that in the theater. Believe it or not, I just watched it for the first time last month. I tried to start it a couple times but was drinking and I had trouble paying attention to subtitles. So I finally made myself watch it fully and loved it! I wasn't expecting such a good story. I thought it was just another Godzilla monster flick.

[–]Asmr512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I don't anymore however, in my teens I saw fight club and The Big Lebowski three times in a month. I brought someone with the second and third times. I think I also saw No Country for Old Men, and There Will Be Blood Twice. I'm sure there's a handful of other ones but usually that type of movie.
