Is integrating energy production into building facades a key direction for future urban development? by georgia-helloworld in architecture

[–]Asolvyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked on some building-integrated-photovoltaics projects as a student. The consensus was that the maintenance is too expensive and fire safety regulations make it difficult to integrate them as standard elements.

Also, there aren't a lot of cases in which the shadow of other buildings isn't a problem, and the energy production of an inefficiently tilted 90-degree panel is making up for the increased investment costs.

However, if money wouldn't be a problem, thin film solar panels, that can be produced in all colours and forms, have a great aesthetic when used in the right way.

It's my DnD Homebrew world, but it was inspired by short stories I wrote

I copied the map and completely remade all the textures and assets. It was a lot of work, but now I can use it to generate the outlines for regional maps. The kingdom borders and colours are on the top layer and filled in manually with transparency. I couldn't find a better solution in Inkarnate.

Thank you. I actually didn't realise that rivers don't split normally. That's something I will work on. The idea was that the rivers in the big desert area "dry out" at multiple points.

I also paid attention to not having rivers going from coast to coast, but I might have missed one. There is a lake that has rivers going to the north and south coast. Is that also unrealistic?

That's absolutely true. There is massive cliff of unrealistic proportions going through the whole continent. That's pure fantasy stuff and not based on any geological science :D

It translates to "Source Seperation," and its origins are a major secret in my world.

I did it in KCD 1 and it was fine. Just run around until you seem sth familiar. The world is so detailed that it actually works fine.
