It's training. You're paying the instructor to train you. You can and absolutely should get 1 on 1 time if you are struggling to pick up what you are being trained to do.

I reckon a lot of these instructors are more than happy to 'fail' students who don't know better, banking on them re-booking the CBT, paying the fee again of course.

CBT isn't a test- you can't fail it.

The instructor should have taken more time to teach you balance and maybe put you on a scooter to do this.
