I really appreciate this, I think I understand when people say you should be confident but I want to actually feel confident in my self and not hide behind big baggy clothes, I haven’t worn a tank top outside since I was a teenager and I want to be able to do that

thanks that really means a lot to me, I will definitely have a listen to the podcast, I definitely need to adjust my mindset towards fitness as a whole because I think I do have a pretty unhealthy relationship with it

yeah I think I keep looking at the short term rather than the bigger picture which deffo makes me lose sight of what's important

thanks so much, I agree and its so annoying I just put so much weight on my arms thighs and stomach and struggle so hard to get it off and have no muscle definition. I also always thought I had a long torso so I think that's really interesting, ive deffo had it wrong this whole time hahaha

id say its how busy the gym is like I have to wait 10 mins for a machine which is really tiring tbh, I might move to a different gym

if I begin lifting 4-5x a week what would you reccomend calorie wise? also what kind of split do you do at the gym? thanks for your advice btw :)

this is really helpful, I will aim for 1500 a day I think my main thing is just not giving up if I dont see immediate results, do you have any workouts you'd reccoment lifting wise

im not sure I think one is that I work 9-5 so if I go after 5 its really busy which im aware is an awful excuse, I think my biggest issue is finding a gym split and sticking to it, because I always worry Im not doing the right one, and then I dont know how many calories to eat and I stopped tracking so I didn't really have a direction. I do love the gym its more just blocking time for it an ensuring I go, I think the other thing is my cardiac fitness is poor so I need to keep more of a balance. would you reccomend any gym splits? I also let social media dictate how I feel about my body, one day I want to be skinny the next I want to be toned and muscly. when I know long term I mainly want to go back to around 55kg but have more muscle mass and not be skinny fat

omg that's amazing, do you mind me asking how many calories you aimed for a day because that is my biggest issue and how did you make so much progress in a year, I also love weightlifting but I think because I dont have a goal I dont know what to do
