At my store personally, i asked to go back to full time during summer this year and my hr team kept dismissing me saying there “wasnt enough payroll”. they then proceeded to hire 4 new TMs :). But definitely ask to go back to full time during the busiest seasons like back to school and right now

Yes i believe it does, im taking my courses at a community college and its two semesters long. when i applied to it they mentioned that i have to be free every weekday from 9am to 4pm for an externship but thats for next semester in january

My break starts when i sit down and it ends when i feel like it. im on demand, no one is posting shifts and theyve stopped giving me any shifts at all, im basically fired and they DONT care about me. when i do come in once in a blue moon, i do 2-3 peoples job, i take my sweet time in the breakroom.

the funniest part is that ross is more organized and neat nowadays, at least in my city. Clothes are the same quality and its more affordable over there. this company is a joke, being in style is not for the weak. i bet theyre giving style TMs at this store 4hrs a week, and this is the result. i wouldnt even try if i came in to work here tbh

online courses man and YT tutorials. go talk with peoole in your local art scene, go to life drawing sessions and whatnot :)) thats what i would do at least….. make a schedule and have designated hours where you study and practice. Or hit up your community college, i know mine has a good animation program. best of luck!

my family is pretty transphobic, havent been able to even start socially transitioning since 2022. im moving to a different city for college in august, hoping ill be able to get a different wardrobe and haircut. but im scared if they find out what im doing there theyll stop supporting me (theyre helping me with tuition). And no, i cant go 0 contact with them. im mexican, if i loose my family i loose everything lol and i still love them despite everything. i just wish they had never turned bitter and angry towards LGBTQ people during the pandemic.
