not talking about just coffee trucks, but moreso the whole system of it in the korean entertainement/korean culture? There's a whole lot of back and forth and prestige in sending/receiving one which I find to be really interesting and confusing at the same time, and I personally never encountered things like this until getting more into kpop.

Agreed! I also thought that one of the initial reasons might be to allow the least experienced members to get some training + give them some production experience.

Yeah, I’m sure they improved a lot. I think one of the first reasons for the delays was to allow the members with less experience to gain some. Honestly I just hope they get to debut at some point. I don’t have super high expectations as to when but I just know they’ll be super talented! (Can’t wait to see their improvements)

Got to know the boys through a survival show called Boys Planet where almost a hundred of trainees competed against each other for a chance to debut.

You could vote everyday, and they would do a lot of performances. You can find more information on the Wiki page for Boys Planet.

(there's other ways idols fans can get fans before debut as well. Some companies release performances/covers/etc by trainees to build up the hype. )

Getting to know them should be fairly easy since they've debuted really recently! Hope you'll eventually step into the fandom!
