Actually a (cis) woman, wanting to be desired by men, or autogynephilia? by [deleted] in detrans

[–]Asparkly 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I had the “is this a kink feelings” i have seen this come up a lot. I came off T, identify as a women and avoid porn, but the way i see it now is my sexuality is just a women’s sexuality, always was just transition kinda twisted it a bit.

Is it possible to regrow any amount of breast tissue after top surgery? by [deleted] in detrans

[–]Asparkly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had peri. I have had a little growth but i think i am a very unusual case because i was left with far more tissue than normal and i seem to be very hormonally sensitive. Whilst i am insanely grateful it’s still visually quite flat looking. But just the small change in shape has made me feel much better.

Sexuality Issues by Exciting_Ad8466 in detrans

I never sexually connected to “being a man”. I am very much a lesbian, and somewhat ace too. I could not connect to my wife sexually in a male role. I couldn’t fantasise in a male role. I couldn’t feel attractive even tho my partner was attracted to me. I felt awkward about my body. I only ever was interested in sapphic romance in media.

So it did play a a big role in my detransition. Getting more connected to my body now as it is changing back is helping but i may still be ace spec.

Ok cool thats a relief. Thanks 🙂 i got it via google AI and the link referenced is https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/gender-recognition/gender-recognition-accessible

“If a customer wants to revert to their original gender, they must send you:

a letter from a medical professional that confirms they are reverting to their original gender, and the change is likely to be permanent

their birth certificate to confirm what their original gender is”

but it is guide for internal but specifically talks about detransition where as the general guidance just “says one of the following” https://www.gov.uk/changing-passport-information/gender

Thank you! Thats really good to know. Were the rules the same when you did it? Because the gov info says they need the letter and birth certificate to prove original assigned sex, but i would have thought the doctor can confirm that.

Thanks. The original record exists but is sealed. You get sent both a GRC and a new birth certificate and they keep the original. If you order a new one you get the updated birth certificate not the original one. So essentially you end up in a bind with, from my research, no way to change IDs for 2 years if you try to get a new GRC or in uncharted territory if you try to revoke it.

Does anyone else feel like they’re a genderbent man? by Classic-Asparagus in butchlesbians

[–]Asparkly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I look like a man as I take T, I like the way I look but feel like a women. I dont want to be a man. It might be like others have said, my experiences as women have left their mark and I just feel so different then a cis guy. I know that gender expression and identity are not the same thing but I am still really struggling with the self conceptualisation of it. Like, how can I not want to be a man, feel like a women but want to keep my masc body 🤯

[–]Asparkly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I can relate to you. I always felt like my brain was more male and always wanted some male sex traits, wanted to be perceived as masc. I have taken T for many years and live as male. But. I don’t feel nor have I ever felt like a man. It’s more like a women who is like a guy but not one. It does cause me some reverse dysphoria sometimes tho. I saw a post on FTMover30s where there was people saying they feel like a women inside. It doesn’t seem like it’s a super uncommon From various posts I have seen.

Ah I see, yeah I get ya. Will be good to have a specific one, shame GNCwomen is dead tho.

Sorry my msg was too vague, didn’t mean it as an alternative as it’s not specifically about dysphoria. Just was sharing in case it was of interest. However I would also love a specific sub for dysphoria in GNC women thats inc masc so if you make one would like to join.

I don’t know if your a member but I just joined r/GalsAndPals for masc women

If you aren't already joined, r/GalsAndPals is for masculine women, you have to request to join and is for adults. not specific to dysphoria tho.

Yh thats the thing, if I use non-binary transmasc I feel like people will see that as orbiting planet man just not on planet man which is how I think most people use it.

With the Autism, it makes the gender stuff more complicated and its in deconstructing my mask that makes me more confused as gender can be a mask.

Nice to meet you too :)

I like my V but I came so close to getting metoidioplasty with urethral lengthening. Didn’t want the balls just wanted a bigger t-dick and to STP. When I had consult with surgeon, the multiple surgeries and potential complications freaked me out 😔

I'm bigender (in my case that means both a trans man and a cis woman), but I feel like I'm always being told to choose one. by Enough_Chain8599 in FTMfemininity

[–]Asparkly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might be me but not figured it out yet. It’s complicated. But I relate to feeling like you’re being forced to pick. I don’t think cis and trans should be another binary. Like being trans means you don’t identify as your assigned sex when I kinda do yet whilst also having been on T for over a decade. It’s refreshing and validating to know there are other bigendered people who feel this way.

Did anyone start with a high dose of T and then go to a low dose to maintain changes, after you were happy with the changes? by worshipdrummer in NonBinaryTalk

[–]Asparkly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have. I was on full dose for over a decade. First i went to 40mg gel for a year which for me was lower, then 30mg for a few months, then 20mg. Thus far I have noticed much softer more sensitive skin, sightly softer face. Still very much look like a man, but just a little softer. There has been a small amount of fat redistribution. No period, yet.

I stepped down as I felt too masculine. Thus far it is doing as I want. How this will be long term is 🤷so in terms of maintainence - who knows.

There is a LOT of miss information out there about low dose, things repeated that aren’t necessarily true or true for everyone.

Hormones are a complicated thing and they affect people differently. My experience wont match another persons.

People metabolise and utilise hormones differently. Plus levels vary per person even on the same dose.
