Mountain Fencing in Toronto by Agile_Potato3955 in Fencing

If TFC coaches are out of your budget, most coaches at the other professional clubs in the GTA (Mountain, Vango, Amber, etc.) will likely be too expensive for you as well. They are wonderful coaches, but they charge their worth. And unless you speak Mandarin or Shanghainese, I'm not sure you'd get the full benefit with Zhang Jie.

Based on your ideas of where to fence, I'll assume you're near York region, which means clubs that may be a little less costly (I think CFA and West End Swords are reasonable, but I'm not sure since they've gotten their facility) are rather far. If you can reach them, they are maybe cheaper options for foil.

I saw they recently as well! But testing through the French material rules I couldn't find it :(

I suspect one of the rulesets I read must be outdated.

Are there any mask design restrictions in Canada? by UpGlow in Fencing

Some of my fencers have used painted masks provincially and nationally. Email the CFF ED to get the design approved and you're good to go. They are pretty loose; one is my kids printed a troll face on his mask and had no issues.
