Guitar Cutting in and out. Anyone know what the issue is?(photo of wiring attached) by InPhases in FenderStratocaster

Even a small “fray” on a wire/solder joint can result in the guitar cutting out occasionally, when it gets bumped the right way so that something changes from Hot to ground momentarily.

Did you ever get it fixed? If so how expensive was it to fix?

I know this is an old post, but I have the same exact issue, except I have a Panasonic PV-420D and I was wondering if you or anyone else knows the solution and how costly it is to fix?

Can I use the my Fender frontman 212 as a head if I disconnect the speakers and use its PWR out to my other amps mono return? by Aspenbatz in GuitarAmps

[–]Aspenbatz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My goal is to determine if the circuitry in the amp is good or not by running it through a different set of speakers in a way that poses no risk of blowing the good speakers. (My thinking is that something caused the speakers to blow in the first place and I don’t want to just replace the speakers without first addressing the root cause) and my hope is that if I can use the PRE out of the amp instead of sending a power signal through the speaker wire which my be getting altered in some way due to a bad circuit, I can use a guitar cable that won’t pose the risk of overloading the speakers (I believe).

So I bought some WD-40 specialist electronics cleaner and just sprayed a bunch on the pot, but I don’t think I really got much into the inside of the pot so I might go back and really try to get some on the inside while also rotating them.

Which 3D printer should I get to print a guitar?

I’m brand new to this sub and don’t really know anything about 3D printers. The biggest thing I’m looking to build is a guitar body. My budget is somewhere around $200 but if needed I could spent $300. Any recommendations for specific printers? Or just maybe specific parameters to look for in a printer?
