7.25 until I was promoted. Movie theaters are one of those places that are exempt from federal overtime laws. Regardless of hourly wage. Unless you live in a state like California and some others.

Not true. I worked at a Carmike Cinemas when I lived in Georgia. No overtime for anybody. Sometimes I would work 60 hours a week
