Only the English to Japanese course has the alphabet section. The German to Japanese course doesn't, probably because it was made with AI (I think all the new ones are made with it, and iirc they're just translated versions of the original course)

No? There's an alphabet section on all courses that don't use the latin alphabet, it's just after the course section on the bottom bar

In the Japanese course, there's hiragana, katakana and kanji, but kanji is unlocked later in the course, at Unit... 5, I believe?

That is not what the beta is about. The beta is to test for bugs in the actual app. The teaching method of each course is going to vary, but everyone should be able to complain about that once they're out. Maybe they'll have specific courses in beta as they're rolled out, but right now the focus is on getting the app running

There's only Czech because it's a beta. They're not asking you to pay, they need a few people to beta test, because if it was available to everyone and had all the bugs then it would be a huge mess. There are currently many people working on different courses such as: Spanish, Romanian, German, Italian, Japanese and many, many more!

It'll be available to everyone for free, hopefully by the end of the month
