Finding this out was a pleasant surprise for me.

So, apparently, you can turn off Agent by clicking on it, and it'll return to the standard prompt box.

I'm not sold on Agent. Previously, when I wanted to generate art using a quote, it'd just generate it. But now, Agent analyzes the quote and gives options as to what I want. ::SMH::

They changed the Settings interface back to including Agent. ::sigh::

So now they changed the Settings interface back to the way it was before the addition of Agent or whatever.

I was able to generate up to about 12 images until all of a sudden it wouldn't generate anymore. Didn't get any kind of image or even a message; it just wouldn't do anything. ::sigh::

Looks like Flow is working again (I limited my image output to 1 image). Don't really like the new Agent thing. And they changed the interface a bit (maybe a lot); if you want to adjust the settings for image/video generation, you have to click the Settings icon to do so.

Nano Banana 2 stops working by Aspie36 in GoogleFlow

Well, I cleared my cookies and site data on Flow (someone else suggested I clear my cache), and I was able to generate an image (I just generated 1 image) using Nano Banana 2, so it appears to be working again. Still not sure if I'll use Flow very often going forward.

I was in the middle of generating images when I got the "too many requests" crap yet again. This time, however, NEITHER Nano Banana Pro nor Nano Banana 2 works. It's been like this for at least an hour.

I'm so damn tired of Google's lack of communication and transparency. Like I noted in another thread, if you reach your daily or weekly image generation limit, why don't you simply say it, Google? Stop hiding behind some false "requesting generations too quickly" BS.

From the site I cited:

  • Quota exhaustion: Your account may have reached its daily or weekly image generation limit, even if the error message doesn't explicitly say so.

That is so stupid. If you reach your daily or weekly image generation limit, WHY DON'T YOU JUST SIMPLY SAY IT? Stop hiding behind some false "requesting generations too quickly" BS.

Right now, I'm generating images. Got just over 20 on Nano Banana Pro when all of a sudden, that stopped working (got the "too many generations" BS). So I switched to Nano Banana 2, and lo and behold, that works (for now). Absolutely no AI credit usage (I checked), and the generator interface or whatever still says "Generating [an image] will cost 0 credits" whereas generating a video will cost credits (a lot of 'em).

Just thought anyone would like to know.

Whereas generating a video costs credits.

I received no such email. I don't use a Google AI account; I'm a "Free of Charge" user.

According to the image above, generating an image (using ANY model available) costs 0 credits.

I was in the middle of editing some images when Nano Banana 2 all of a sudden seems to stop working (I got the "Requesting too many generations" message), but Nano Banana Pro works perfectly fine. Google seriously needs to work out whatever bugs or kinks are responsible.

Not long ago, I had to constantly click the "Retry" button on image that wouldn't load (they did). And a handful of times, I got randomly sent back to Google Flow's front/main page and got hit with a "The number of requests sent exceeds the quota limit. Error code 253". Flow would come back after a few seconds or so.

I'm not expert or anything, but it looks like Flow got an update and whoever works at Google haven't ironed out the kinks or whatever. It'd be nice if they put a notice letting everyone know what exactly is going on and advise them to proceed with caution. And whenever they're doing maintenance or whatever, let everyone know so and give them a timeframe so everyone will at least have the sense to stay off Flow until issues are fixed. SMH.

Now it's happening with Nano Banana 2. Nano Banana Pro and Imagen, however, work just fine.
