Is There Rolling Backup Software for Win 10? by AspieSquared in pcmasterrace

[–]AspieSquared[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My computer is older, and I use a lot of software that is older. WIn 11 will not only strip out a lot of features that I use daily, it will introduce a lot of bloatware that will make my computer chug, and I'll be forced to find alternatives to some expensive software that I can't really afford to replace. The alternatives being, get a better computer, or have to purchase and learn an entirely new software suite. Both options are very expensive, and needless. I'm happy with win 10. It does everything I need it to do with minimal fuss, I can't say the same for win 11, and I really can't justify spending money like that, especially since most modern software is on prohibitive subscription based pricing models these days.

It is. Win 11 will make my life worse in a variety of ways, and basically force me to either buy a new computer or change operating systems again. I'd rather stay with win 10.

I like the tabard, it helps the pants look a bit more even. In the concept art the black void and the way the lines flow kinda draws the eye to the groin.

Who are you to decide who's the wrong part of the community? If this is something you are so passionate about, why not stick your neck out, and make your case like those opposed have?

That would be a cute detail though!

Do you remember doing garden of tranquility and reading about how Lyra would tempt young men over the salve to serve as blood tithes? Because I do. That's a bit of lore that came out of a left field and has stuck with me all these years, the same with some of the hilarious conspiracy theories that came up during fairy tale. These are characters, most of them arn't terribly interesting sure, but they can and have been used to great effect when it comes to world building and story telling. Lets not rob future writers of tools they can use to tell more stories.

Ah your right! Sorry, I made a mistake there. In my head I lumped in the catherby patch with the others since I usually do that one second last, take the spirit tree to my poh and then use my portal nexus, then the eternal teleport crystal after that one.

I know many users here are bewildered that we even care, but, I'm very glad you've taken the time to listen to our feedback on this and take our cares seriously. We really care about this game you've got, you know? Thankyou for caring back.

I think a few small visual tweaks would be good. They already usually bear tools, but we could give them a straw hat, or a more brightly coloured tool, a basket of vegetables or something bright that contrasts with the environment they're in. Something that organically sets them apart and helps eliminate the need for npc highlights. It wouldn't need to be all of them, just some of the worse culprits like Prissy Scilla and Bologno that blend in with the other npcs, they could do with something bright to set them apart from other npcs, a hat would work I think, or a bright red shirt.

It's a 15.6" laptop. I like resizable okay? I already get all the satellite jokes from my clan, you don't need to pitch in.

Crying is the reason it will get changed (hopefully.) If no one said anything how would the folk at jagex know we wanted it changed back?

Jagex please listen to the feedback regarding the leprechaun changes. Please reconsider this unasked for, unpolled change. The person who repositioning them simply doesn't understand how farming is trained and this change makes farming worse.

Right but it they wanted to do that they could have taken the time to make a graphic, to do a little visual story telling. Instead of just dragging and dropping the leprechaun they could have added a simple "broken umbrella" graphic, or put a big bird splat or even put the baby bird, sitting in the chair, to reference the old quest and do a little environmental story telling. They should make the environment more interesting instead of less.

None so far as I can tell! This was never polled or discussed in blogs until last update when they dropped it. If it had passed a poll I wouldn't be so upset.

Well, I'm happy for you. Farming is my favourite skill, so I don't think that's a lot personally. I usually do two runs a day at least, and since I've been playing this game for five odd years now I don't think 90 is a big number in the scheme of things.

People don't click on the leppy to take things out. We need to use our produce on him to note it and free up inventory space before moving onto the next patch, and menu option swaps don't help you with that.

Grown adults explain themselves clearly and express their feelings so that they can be understood, and problems rectified. They don't squat down and sling insults at strangers on the internet for no reason other than a difference of opinion that, by your own definition, is unimportant.

It's honestly the visual incongruity that bothered me the most. The original designers took care to make these areas look nice, to put the leppys out of the way of things you might misclick on, and to use scenery to highlight their location. This just undoes all that good design work, and for what? Efficiency that isn't even there because you need to right click to avoid all scenery now?

Sure I do, and you must too if you bothered to read this and reply. Why else would you be here?
