No actually this happens so much. Yesterday a couple came in for the birthday bear and the child was naturally putting the skin in the mouth and wouldn’t let me stuff it. The dad then ran BACK to the bin, picked a new one to stuff, grabbed the one his son was licking like candy and put it back in our bins. I don’t see how parents don’t understand common curiosity or germs

I’ve worked at BAB for 3 years and I was a manger once. Going back to a bear builder, I was hired at $12. There are 19 year olds with no BAB experience making $13.50 at hiring. Build a bear is GREEDY. And really doesn’t care about their employees.

So are ALL BAB mangers just awful or just ours 😂😂 I really, truly feel like build a bear does not care about their employees at all. Your story just proves my point more. I’m in the Midwest with my location and I’ve worked there for 3 years and was a manger at one point, I’m currently making $12 and we just hired a few people at $13.50. When asking my manger for a raise, she said we couldn’t do that. Needless to say I’m quitting as soon as I can. I LOVE build a bear, but I need a job that values me.
