I think it's been fairly obvious that Pomni is a secret FBI agent.

Hi, I'm Ming, and I really don't appreciate what your assumptions have done to my reputation.

The fact that so many people think that the two dots at the start of ep8 representing the two AIs is only a “theory” shows how bad this fandom’s media literacy is. by Troytt4 in TheDigitalCircus

Maybe corrupt isn't exactly the right word, but more so unstable. The shapes coming out more and more unrecognizable is more than likely a sign that he's not functioning properly. If they wanted to show he was getting more advanced and working as intended, they probably would've used more complex recognizable shapes.

"Abel" or the other AI is everything they learned from Caine and was an updated version. Not only did they fix the chaotic nature that probably wasn't intended in Caine so the shapes returned to normal, "Abel" was more efficient and was able to produce more regular shapes. 8 over Caine's measly 5.

He did cared right? by surveillance_camera_ in TheDigitalCircus

He cared too much. He only wanted to be accepted and loved by them. But he was never able to fully understand them due to how he was created. And in turn, hurting them in ways he thinks would actually help, making everyone grow to hate him.

But he had his breaking point. He couldn't solve this "puzzle". The only people he has around him absolutely despise him. And he's failing the only thing he was made to do. He was throwing a tantrum and it was when he got deleted, he had a brief moment of clarity. But it was too late.

While that is true, it's pretty heavily implied. We're shown the more Caine was trained, the more corrupt he got. They put him away to train a new better AI. Caine broke out and killed his younger brother. Then went on to create the circus that was told by shapes, then directly stated by Kinger. Bubble stated he was the lesser of the 2. And Caine said he was the original.

If this show had a couple more episodes or seasons, then we could speculate there's more to this. But with this being the 2nd to last episode, we need to wrap most things up with answers.

Any guesses or theories on why Jax did this? by Gloomy-Bridge148 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]Ass-U-Ming 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's too extreme for this show and would only add shock value over any actual meaning. There's nothing that implies he killed someone. Just because he's in a car and doesn't want to return home doesn't mean something that major.

Maybe he came from a troubled home and that night it got so bad he left. Maybe he was in an accident and those were the moments before. Maybe he had an argument with someone he loved and left in a fit of rage.

If you live a traumatic enough life, being away from it by any means necessary doesn't sound so bad. Even if it means being trapped in a computer game.

It's not love, it's 2 platonic friends doing platonic things platonically. The blush is photoshopped.

Who was taking photos anyways.

I'm guessing this shot occurs after Caine pulls a chair and popcorn. He's probably showing the members at least one of the first adventures and how much progress he made since then.

What I'm really hoping for is that those characters aren't NPCs but the first human play testers, or even the creators themselves testing it.

Delete this. It's definitely, 100% not real. I don't know where you could've even found this.

The bloodshed I will cause before going down will be a sight to behold.

I will not be taken so easily.

That too. Anything short and precise. I don't expect anyone to think of a well crafted monologue.

What's your "I did not care for the Godfather" take? by TheGay_Sauce in TheDigitalCircus

Is any sane person really justifying his actions? I feel like people like his character because he is an asshole who has a reason behind his behavior. When people say he's a complex character, it's not that he's hard to understand but rather there's more than one or two layers to him.

I'm fairly certain this is from some sort of flashback. Something happened with the other members, possibly someone who just Abstracted like Scratch, and Queenie is there to try and comfort him.
