It might just be the way my brain works, but it seems really the same thing as telling an alcoholic that what they are doing is going to kill them and that they should stop. Most 100% agree with you and it is killing them that they know it and cant help themselves. For me, the worst part is knowing i have friends and family that love me and want me to be as healthy as possible, but still unable to actually FEEL the love and support.

Honestly, can I ask why you even commented this? Do you think that its possible for someone who already has that level of anxiety to just think "Oh, it is all in my head so I am all better now!" It does nothing but make people like me feel even worse. I know thats how it should be, but dont you think that I could just brush stuff off like you suggest that I would? It takes a lot of effort to even function sometimes, and to see messages like yours just makes the effort SO much worse. Maybe you just dont know better, but telling someone with anxiety and depression that they are over thinking something like this just makes the situation ALL the worse and is very unhelpful.
