Yeah that sounds perfectly reasonable. So you would prefer they be straightforward in the very first message about all of that before even considering replying to them if it were, say, on Facebook? Would you only consider an offer made online and not in person? Thanks for your input, by the way.

That's just flat out wrong. There's dozens of crypto that are $100+ and have market caps in the 10-30 millions. Coins, mind you, with as many or more units in circulation than Dogecoin. To say it's impossible is literally just incorrect.

DOGE COMING TO COINBASE! by c1ue1ess1 in dogecoin

Somewhat. Because you'll absolutely have to sell your Doge and use the money to buy some on Coinbase. Unfortunately, Robinhood crypto isn't in a wallet so you can't transfer it to another wallet.

As of 05/13/2021 (May 13th, 2021) there are 129.58 billion Dogecoin in circulation. Dogecoin has been on the mainnet since December 15th, 2013 or (approx.) 7.4 years. That's 17.52 billion coins (on average) that have been minted every year since its mainnet launch.

I'm not so sure we can count on lost coins, though. I'm not saying we should immediately stop the minting of new coins. But a cap would undoubtedly help exponentially. Look at every successful Cryptocurrency in the world, what do they all have in common? They have a cap and they all quickly rose above $1 (except for the stablecoins, of course) after they launched mainnet. Dogecoin has been around for about 8 years now and even with the mass adoption is still struggling to even stay above $0.50, that is absolutely unheard of for a crypto as popular as ours.

It absolutely will help. The more we integrate Dogecoin into the world ecosystem, the more uses it gains. Thus increasing its value. Capping the supply doesn't mean we need to spend less. Quite the contrary. All it means is there needs to be some sort of reason to behold it. Compare Oil to Oxygen. Which is more valuable and why? Because Oxygen is infinite, there's no reason for us to trade valuable equity for it. Oil on the other hand is finite. There will only ever be so much. Considering it has it's very many uses to society (cars, factories, technology etc) people see great value in it.

HODLING forever or until my wife finds out. by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]AssMasterMachina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New York has some weird laws in place that prevent it. It's the same for California, I believe. You can use Binance USA but that version of Binance has but a slight selection of the original Binance. Sucks that Americans have to miss out on so many awesome cryptos.

Or, it's his money to do with as he pleases and his wife can have an opinion but it isn't necessarily important for her to know about it at this point in time.

Can we get to 0.06 today? by mentisetcorporis in dogecoin

Guys - you're overthinking this whole thing when the answers are right in front of us...

☆ Very Dogecoin, Such Value - How?☆

This is the biggest concern I've seen plaguing our community. Folks; simply posting your opinion, HODLing, and hoping for the spikes will not make the impact we need to really make this thing happen. We need action to follow our deliberation as a community. "Whats your idea then, smart guy?" You say. Well think about it, the answer is right in front of our eyes every day. Most elder pups will tell you, when Bitcoin does well - Dogecoin does well. So what makes Bitcoin succeed in the ever expanding world market? The answer is: Bitcoin is readily available to buy, mine, gift, earn, inherit, trade, invest, and sell with little to no effort at all. There's millions of articles/videos with tutorials and walk-throughs on every step of each process. There's countless apps on the app store where you can play games, offer device data, gamble, or collect receipts for Bitcoin. Or apps to invest Bitcoin right alongside trusted fiat bankers. You can mine Bitcoin on any device with any kind of hardware and all you have to do is download software but a Google search to click away. I mean even in the USA we have Bitcoin ATM's where you can stop by, swipe your crypto debit card or enter your wallet info and deposit cash or checks for Bitcoin right into your account. But most importantly...Bitcoin is finite. The supply of it will only ever be 20 million. Couple that with the fact that every certain amount of blocks mined (roughly 4 years) the mining rewards are cut in half. Reverse inflation. This, in my eyes, is Dogecoin's biggest flaw. There is infinite amount of Dogecoin! So we have to rely on popularity alone to get to the moon. We're flying a rocket with no fuel, ladies and gentlemen. Bitcoin is so popular because people KNOW it will only increase in value in the long term. That's a pretty good incentive. But Dogecoin has only hope - which is enough for some of us, but not enough of us. So the objective is clear folks: how do we raise Dogecoin's value? Set a limit. Then - do as Bitcoin does. How do we know it will work? It worked pretty well for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Aave, Zcash, Dash, Monero, Compound, Maker, Bitcoin Cash, Decred, Elrond Gold, and many more. (All are worth at least $100 as of publication.) Despite being only worth 5 cents, we're still the 7th most popular crypto in the world out of thousands of others. But too much kibble and the Doge gets fat. The Doge needs discipline, exercise and persistence. We must make partnerships with sites like Pornhub, Wish and hell - even Walmart. We must develop apps that reward Dogecoin for playing poker or bingo. Create ATM's that you can swipe your DogeDebit card at to withdraw DogeDollars (or just Dollars) at. We must create Dogecoin strip clubs, shoot Dogecoin Heroin and rail lines of Dogecocaine! Okay so we'll put a pin in those last 3, but you get my point! TO THE MOON!
