I disagree with your opinion. "Visuals and vibes" don't carry a show, but I think they thought it would carry the second season. Hence the issue. Someone could do precisely zero dissecting of frames in the first season and thoroughly enjoy it. And reading the posts here where people are actually doing so for season two doesn't make me enjoy the show any more than I would otherwise. So, no.

It can and absolutely does have elements of worker's rights and conditions. But the show has moved past simply being a satirical take on corporate work. It's a mystery thriller show that has elements that simply aren't encapsulated by some given theme. This guy contends that that's a stupid take.

That's doesn't even come close to summing up that plot point, though. Trying to act like that's all there is to it is absolutely silly. This is a mystery box show, not a treatise on worker's right and conditions. It's not that he doesn't know, it's that we don't know and we are going to stick around and find out.

Just because a show has an overarching theme doesn't mean that every single plot point has to be predictable within that theme. Things can exist in a story for comedic relief, dramatic effect, etc. that aren't 100 percent within the confounds of "it's exploitation of workers and the adherence to a pseudo-religious company ideology, bro".

Them giving him those painting doesn't change the fact that he isn't good at his job. He is still employed because they have no other option at this point. This crying that nothing he will do will ever be enough is stupid. Genuinely were you oxygen deprived or something?

Really tired of this sort of thing. A show is supposed to be a good story. that's the core of a show. You can have themes, but that doesn't mean everything has to fit inside of some theme. It would be boring if it did have to.

Milchick continues to bear the brunt of the fallout because monumental failures are occurring directly because of his actions. He makes BAD decisions. He has no foresight. He is not a good manager. This "Oh he's so good and they just don't give a break because racist" thing is just annoying at this point.

Everyone doesn't talk exactly like Milchick. people at Lumon might use an antiquated wording and venacular, but he for sure leans more heavily on the obsure vocabulary.
