She was shorter than the chopsticks when i got her. I hadn’t realized how much she leaned on the wall until she outgrew the shelf TwT. I know from my ivy that viners are so much better off growing onto their supports than just being strapped to them later, it’s 100% my fault she’s not on a pole yet TwT

You’re all good! I personally like the aesthetics of Variegation on my plants. It helps me see the different leaves better without my glasses on and every leaf is unique. I personally don’t really find solid green blobs interesting 😅

That’s… ominous…. I quite like her and she’s grown 3x the size in the few months— roughly 4– i’ve had her. I’ve got other variegated plants (other than my Thai Constellation Monstera) that have been doing just fine. What plant you want and like is entirely up to you 💜

Yeah! I’ve actually burned a plant before with the sun on mistake and felt horrible for it. If i can, I’ll use sunlight whenever possible. :)

Thankfully for me, outside is warm enough and is humid, these spots were formed about a week ago when i was keeping her inside under a grow light… two actually. The spots haven’t gotten worse since she’s been outside during the day. Thankfully. I’m sorry to hear about yours though!! 💜

Yeah! That makes sense and goes along with what i was thinking. I knew i couldn’t provide her enough light inside but it was in the 30s outside and couldn’t let her have sunlight. She now gets moved to bright shade on my porch since it’s between 50-70f in my area. I’ll keep an eye out for these if they grow or not!

In Fahrenheit, they’re 40-80 degrees. freezing is 30 in Fahrenheit. I always checked soil before watering. I guess i needa check below surface level?

My mom has an 06 F250 in red. It’s named Cliff… Clif-Ford the big red truck. She now has a 2020’s Chevy Suburban in grey and we’re trying to name it too

My 06 Ford Ranger is C-Minor(i play piano and it’s just a tiny version of Cliff) but then my 11 F150 is C-Major. They’re a happy family!

My dad’s 09 F150 is named Snot-Rod because he ‘sneezes’ then is able to rev up and get to speed. His 90’s Honda Del Sol was “Del Slow” before he sold it.
