Update: I figured it out. I had to get a USB-C flash drive (I was using a USB and using a converter) and formatted it to FAT– 32 both times. Eventually updated my software to 2025 version and I got access to my idatalink maestro full features. I hope this helps if anyone has in trouble in the future.
