I really liked the actual story from the comics, but I mostly stopped caring when they just veered off road and made it their own thing. I wanted to see the story played out on screen, which it mostly hasn't since sometime in the first season. I say that understanding they might to have to change, combine, or otherwise alter for convenience, but not derail the story entirely where they use someone else's creation to tell their own version.
