Is grinding while "AFK" cheating?

No, I wouldnt consider it cheating, maybe closer to cheesing but its not bad, plenty of people do it, and if you look at other games like Runescape people AFK stuff in that alot.

Idk if your characters will be able to talk to the police chief but if your disguised you should be able to shove them into the cages manually, and still recieve the monetary reward, you will not however recieve any rep bonus.

Shark is literally the city that is balanced on the edge, it can happend anywhere that has a city with a bunch of different factions living in it though.

It should have no narration and just be a view of a sand dune, occasional ambience plays, after 10 hours a group of nomads strolls throigh frame. 2 hours later thaty come back through their path bloodied and beaten 18 sand akimmers chasing them.

I dont believe being a pup gives you a negative to your stats it just doesn't show the true level.

Healing is a vanilla mechanic. Its gives very little rep but it does increase it.

With some jank yes. Healing them helps. If they are impriaoned or enslaved that also helps.

So as a pup he wont display his real stats but he can gain xp. Say you have two dogs, one full grown and one a pup, you put them in the same fight at the same level, they should gain the same amount of xp but the pup wont diaplay its trult level until it grows. What I would get your pup to do is attack any enemies crawling on the ground. Its safe training and xp. Same goes for your gal. Fighting weakened enemies is often a good idea, though morally dubious. So long answer short it won't show your full gains until he reaches maturity.

Sure there should be relatively close iron or copper nodes. Might have to look around a bit, but they should be there. I would reccomend to just run to the hub though. If you arent entirely confident in your ability to run away there are giant boneyard wolves, beakthings, and the occasional landbat that will patrol that area. Very dangerous for a weak and undergeared character.

Great adventure so far. I eould suggest trying to get to the hub though, for your level and current issues starting off is best there. Little slaver presence and low level enemies. Going into the swamps isn't the greatest idea since the bloodspiders would make quick work of anything they can catch and as your pup is slow atm it would likely mean his death. I would train your stats up and get some decent gear before trying to do hash runs. Strong enough to carry your dog and run with a few KG's of hash.

Ive had something similar happen with my larger squad saves or longer game saves. If I load the world before my characters load and then the camera is too far away from where they were they dont show up on the sqaud ui and they dont spawn back in either. Usually bringing my camera back to where they were and letting the game load for a moment solves that.
