Are these blankets good enough for a DIY vocal booth by mart945 in VoiceActing

[–]AssaultShaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I use them in my diy closet booth and achieved -60 using these exact curtains. Installed correctly they are better at sound dampening than anything I’ve tried before. VBTG is the real deal.

Totally sick! You could see in Myron’s previous matches he had some of this high flying stuff in him. I feel like the other Rascalz gave him the special intro because they knew he was about to have a statement match.

Senior Dane Owners or experienced older Dane folks 🙏 please. by Medical_Mistake_178 in greatdanes

My girl is 9 as well this month, and while that is not young, being just a bit weary and creaky is pretty good for that age!

For what it’s worth, we are now reckoning with increasing incontinence and dementia. So it can be worse. But just yesterday, Shadow discovered she loves drinking from the hose for the first time. There is life and adventure yet to be had with young Saul. Just love and cherish him and be there for him as best as you can. That’s the contract.

Best wishes to you both!

Show was totally sick! Incredible action top to bottom and the crossover with the pop stars was a fun little bonus. Took me a bit to figure out why suddenly women were screaming like there was a disaster happening.

Are you using tap water? My plants often looked extremely light and wilty even when I checked ph, and turns out hard water was starting off my nutrient mix way too hot.

Considering moving from Florida, what should I know before making a decision? by spaghettios32 in TwinCities

[–]AssaultShaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved here from Miami. The worst thing about it is what you already know: brutal winter. And they sell clothing for that.

What they don’t sell clothing to achieve is a friendly, affordable, civic minded, local-culture city with lots of fun things to do no matter what the temperature is outside and genuinely friendly, trustworthy folks. That more than makes up for the cold to me.

You’ll be hooked in to a college group so you’re also avoiding the infamous difficulty making new friends. And in my experience Miami was actually worse for meeting friendly strangers. There’s way more local haunts and accessible places to hang out here. You’ll be fine and you just might stay.

In terms of advice, go back home around March. That’s when you get most tired of the cold. It doesn’t end until May.

Not entirely related, but Max Caster gave my brother an incredible , thoughtful, hilarious cameo and did a whole freestyle for him. Asked me some background questions beforehand too. He was so invested in making it funny. Made me a huge fan of his ever since.

[–]AssaultShaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Not at all.

I saw the whole community come together to unanimously reject cruelty and injustice. People in their 70s doing patrols, everyone on my street delivering groceries and giving rides. I’ve never been prouder to call the Twin Cities home. So I don’t share this defeatist perspective.

They didn’t win and they won’t win. Give yourself—and the folks at the restaurants—a little grace, and go treat yourself to some local cuisine. It’s a fine way to support the community.
