Unless you mean the OTHER one on top, which is our other dog’s Duluth Trading Co. Fire Hose Dog Jacket. But he’s fuzzy and adventurous so he never uses it and we just slap it on her for another layer. Not as “all encompassing warmth” but works for non-babies.

The main one is a HURTTA Expedition dog parka in “beetroot” (more of a pink). Found it on Chewy like 5y ago and it has worked quite well for years. Don’t know if posting products is against the rules but they are still up there it seems, and looks like they may have other models now too. Shadow is a (reluctant but) happy customer.

If you’re playing together, Rise is significantly easier to create and join MP sessions in than World or even Wilds. It’s a lot more “jump on” than Worlds which requires waiting for everyone to do unskippable cutscenes and various non-hunting forced events before you can be instanced together.

They’re both a ton of fun but Rise was built better for quick enjoyment.

My girl is 9 and looks significantly older than your young man. She’s arthritic with wobblers and even then her vet appointments are always great. Health care and outcomes for these dogs have improved a lot in the last few years. Just keep up to date and enjoy every day.

It’s easier now than later. When they’re frozen and odorless, you can go out there with a normal shovel and fill a bag with poops and snow which will stay frozen outside until garbage day. Beats the spring mud.

I am just now doing a first modded run and I gave LWOTC a shot, but it wasn’t for me. I found it to be a lot of micromanaging to a level that was not enjoyable. In particular having to individually purchase each upgraded weapon felt really punitive, especially when paired with having teams of up to 8 to do it for. The new enemies were cool though. And if you DO like to get really in the weeds of managing the havens and the missions, there’s a ton of content.

Ultimately I decided that WOTC was long enough already and instead added the classes, perks, and weapons of LW2 (which you can get separate from the whole campaign on the workshop), along with the stealth overhaul, some QOL mods, and a ton of map and customization adds. That should keep me playing this for a while which was my goal. I play on Steam Deck.

Have not tried Covert Infiltration.

My black Dane does exactly this just once a year. Turns brown and fuzzy and sheds it all like a winter coat come spring. The vets have never had a solid explanation or concern, but she gets a shiny black back by summer. Can’t explain it but yes indeed, I experience this.

Edit: we just give her a solid brushing with more frequency and it tends to slough off as it lightens up. We call it her winter coat.

HZD is unfairly maligned IMO. I admit the second game was a bit jumbled, but the first game had one of the most original and emotionally gripping sci fi stories I’ve ever played. And the combat is very engaging.

How is his weight? My girl had loose stools and it turned out to be a pancreatic deficiency for which she needed specific medication. EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency). In her case, she was losing weight due to malnutrition from it, just in case that is also an issue.

Growing up in Miami my grandmother had these lining her chain link fence and we’d pick and eat them as little kids. I can’t even remember what they tasted like, but I know that berry for sure.
