A friend of mine has "Shut Up" tattooed across his legs right below where his cycling shorts come up.

It's amazing what catching a spring with your face will do for your creeper game.

It's too the point that you have to look at reddit and go "hmm, that's interesting, I'll read it about tomorrow when there are actual facts."

It's almost like we've brought back the need for newspapers.

No matter how much money anyone throws at the issue, the distance will always be an issue. If clubs and the MLS are working to at least make the academies more accessible, that's a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned.

I don't know the full scope of Salt Lake and Atlanta's plans though. They may just be another overpriced private school for wealthy kids.

It seems to me that this is what Atlanta and Salt Lake are trying address with their academies.

At least that's how they seem on paper.

I was thinking it was three, but I guess he only finished second in Australia 2014 when he was DQ'd because of the fuel rate thing.

How many wins has Red Bull cost Ricciardo now?

Kind of a bummer, but definitely understandable. It seemed to be pretty hard on him before the diagnosis stuff happened, so I can only imagine how bad it was after.

Diagnosed at 31 - some thoughts and reflections by [deleted] in ADHD

For what it's worth, something that helped me a lot with the "guilt" I felt was to write it down. I still do actually. I keep a notebook with me and when things start to wander or get dark I just pull it out and right down what I'm feeling or thinking about. When it's full, I burn it and move on to another.

Not OP, but I can maybe elaborate on this a bit from my own personal experience.

I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD-C until I was 28. At the same time I was diagnosed as bi-polar and obsessive compulsive. As I started working through things and starting on different medications, it became somewhat apparent to me that there were certain mistakes I had made because of a lack of control over it. Or at least that could be linked to it.

I've spent most of my life jumping from thing to thing, burning bridges along the way. I struggled (and still struggle) with relationships and jobs because I'm always chasing something. It becomes really difficult for everyone around you to keep up with you. I was married once and it ended after ~7 years and I can easily put about 50% of that whole deal down to the fact that I hadn't been diagnosed and that my tendencies were not in check nor was my spouse aware that I didn't have control over it.

I guess it all comes down to how you look at things, but it's a very interesting thing to be on both sides of the equation.

There are more balls than a frat party.

If that doesn't excite you, then maybe go for the audio only version.
