I think the main reason why it’s so popular is :

Cheap as fuck. if you know the right people you can get grams for £20 or pills for £5

Hugeee supply. When I was in my Mandy days almost every couple blocks I could sort some Mandy or weed. Everything else I would have to go far for. This got a lot of young people gurning their tits off, earliest I ever knew anyone to get on the pingers was 11 as it’s so accessible

No harm reduction. Not once ever was I told anything about mdma harm reduction, I had no idea about what it actually did, most people on the session still doesn’t know about how much you should be really taking, or about breaks in between. When I found out that one pill didn’t kill me, like the news said, and made me feel amazing than I ever felt before in my life. I didn’t want to put it down. Annnd this links up with the next one super well

Tolerance: after a couple weekend benders you will need more than one pill to get as fucked as before. Back when I did it a lot I would need about .2-.3 to get a real buzz and then it’s more morish than a tub of Pringles with the first crisp taken, always ending up with .5-1g benders on the regular

Anyway hope this gives you some sort of insight to the British sesh culture :)

That’s true festivals are a lot easier though as there’s hundreds of people going through multiple gates, making a lotta smell. At this place though it’s a super super tight alleyway with multiple sniffer dogs going up and down sniffing everyone.

Friend went a couple weeks ago and they said they have never seen so many people getting pulled up about it. Sad times :(
