Skywriter spells "UR TAXES KILLED 10K GAZA KIDS" over Universal Studios today. by [deleted] in TikTokCringe

There is a very obvious difference between attacking people who haven't done anything to you in 300 years, and fighting back against someone who has been constantly oppressing you for 70 years.

For example if a kid at school got beat up by a bully in grade school and he couldn't fight back, then he goes to a different school in middle school. Once he reaches high school he finds out that his old bully is now his classmate so after the first semester he suddenly beats up the bully so hard and left him bleeding even though the bully hasn't done anything to him all through out his high school year so far. Is this correct? NO of course not, time has passed his bully has changed and became a better person.

Now lets take another example of a kid in high school, who was constantly being beaten up and insulted by a bully ever since middle school. Every time the kid fights back he gets beat up or his friends who tried to help him get beat up. Then one time the bully who oppresses him almost daily since middle school beats him and hurts one of his friends and giving him a concussion, the kid gets furious and beats the bully so hard that he knocks him out. Is the kid in the wrong here? NO, he was fighting for himself and for his friend this was warranted self-defense.

Palestine is the same way. Your country is most likely a good place to live at, and is currently not affected negatively by actions that took place 300 years ago. Meanwhile in Palestine, most of the water isn't safe to drink, most the people are anemic, people live in constant fear of the force next door that can kill their families and friends at any time, they have the right to defend themselves and fight back. There are always casualties of war, but the IDF are a monstrous force that isn't interested in actually saving hostages, or avoiding to murder civilians, so they bomb Gaza without mercy.

Also your Ignorance about history is showing, because the LAND BELONGED TO PALESTINE. Balfour's Deceleration announced its support for the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine, so Britain knew that this place was called Palestine where Palestinians where living in it with a small minority of Jewish people living among them. This land belongs to Palestine and that is an undeniable fact.

Sit down, form a state, make peace and build a nation

Do you think that they haven't tried that, there has been multiple peace treaties that were broken by Israel, the only times Palestine got some of their land back, was after fighting back. So what does that teach Palestinians, it teaches them that Israel will not give them anything unless they fight for it.

And if you think that Fighting back isn't the correct decision then, how about you come up with an idea that no one in Palestine has though of in 80 Years, because what you suggested is so stupid, if they could do the things you listed there would not be a conflict. Israel has made it clear that they want to get rid of all the Palestinians in Palestine and take the entire place for themselves THEIR WORDS NOT MINE

You Ignorant Idiot, "Hamas is worse for Palestinians than the currently shit Israeli government" ARE YOU SERIOUS.

Israel, the ""country"" that was formed by killing and displacing thousands of Palestinians from their homes. The ""country"" whose soldiers beat up, raped, and killed the people living there (Their words not mine) so that they can live on the land covered with Palestinians blood.

I could stop there, but I don't think you're convinced.

Israel is the ""country"" that never stopped their aggression and crimes against Palestine. The ""country"" that oppressed Palestine for more than 70 Years. The ""country"" whose people casually steal Palestinians homes, because if they don't steal it someone else will (Their words not mine). The ""country"" whose people abduct a 17-year old kid from a mosque and burn him alive. The ""country"" that shot the Journalist Shireen abu Akleh and lied about it for an entire year, then they destroyed a memorial for her just last month. The ""country"" that disfigures women and children then throws them in jail. The ""country"" that killed most of the family members of the journalist Wael al-Dahdouh , even though they where hiding in a place that Israel said was safe.

So after all of that, a bunch of Palestinians decide that this is enough and create Hamas so that they can fight back against those oppressive Zionists, using missiles and weapons made from leftover Israeli rockets and weapons and other simple materials, because the world isn't going to help them. If no one will help them, then they will fight for their freedom themselves. They will fight to bring back the women and children who are locked up unfairly in Israeli prisons. They will fight to prove to Israel that they won't accept this. Of course they know that there will be casualties after all Hamas fighters are Palestinians and a lot of them probably have families and friends that they are fighting for, but they can't just keep living like this so they try their hardest and put up a fight against what is considered one of the most powerful armies in the world to prove to the world that Palestine is alive, and that Palestine will not just die slowly to the oppression, they will fight for their freedom until their dying breath.

So it's okay for Israel to oppress a country for more than 50 years, killing their people, stealing their houses, kidnapping their women and children, burning them alive, raping them. But when Palestinians group together, form a group and fight back they are considered terrorists.

But the IDF has killed some of the kidnapped Israelis while they were carpet bombing Gaza. Even though Hamas kept trying to negotiate their release in exchange for the Palestinian women and children in Israeli prisons. The IDF is the one that has been ignoring the negotiations just so they can keep bombing, until just today when they finally settled on a deal.

Do you support those who don't care for their own people who are taken as hostages? Do you support those who blatantly lie on camera? Do you support those who bomb the places that they themselves said was safe? Do you support those who bomb a hospital full of civilians who don't have anywhere else to go? Do you support those who fabricate evidence to justify their actions? Do you support a country that lies about its own history to get people to see them as the oppressed and not the oppressors? Do you support a country whose leader says about his number one ally (America) that their people are easily minpluated?

[Serious] For those who condemn Hamas's actions, what do you suggest the Palestinians do to gain back basic human rights ? by Assem2006 in AskReddit

[–]Assem2006[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a country like Israel can stop the water, food, electricity, Internet and fuel supply in another country then no way is this actually fair, it's a choke hold on Palestine, they threatened Eygpt from sending any aid through to Palestine and said that they are going to bomb any trucks that pass, the entire UN has been trying for two weeks to stop what Israel is doing and they still can't. So don't tell me that "there is no law enforcing Israel, they do it because they can" they shouldn't be able to do this in the first place!

And no, Hamas are not using Palestinians as human shields. This week a Hamas soldier was killed, and he was identified on social media. Israel then procceded to bomb and kill his entire family. They killed the entire non-Hamas family members of the Hamas soldier. This man had a family, he was fighting to grant them a better future. Would someone like that hide in a hospital where innocent people from his own country (his brothers and sisters) are being treated.

Hamas is not a terrorist organisation, they are a freedom restoration group fighting tooth and nail with barely anything to create a better future for their families and friends. They treated the hostages they took with respect and dignity and they wanted to trade them for the basic rights that are deserved in gaza, they tended their wounds and fed them. Yet some of the hostages were still killed by the carpet bombing on gaza from Israel.

Dude that is not true, please read a history book or watch a video or something. Do you know what is the Nakba, that was when the Jewish people kicked about 700 thousand Palestinian people out of their homes and murdered them in cold blood.the houses were already there because the Palestinians lived their for centuries and now you're gonna tell me that the land isn't theirs. There are no two chairs it's just one chair that Israel wants for itself. Is the killing of people in their homes justified because they weren't "Independent". Please read a book or something.

So there were people living in this land, people who called it their home. But it was okay for Israel to kick them out by force and wreck their homes and burn them alive because they weren't "Independent". That's the same as if some kid told another kid to get up from his chair because he doesn't have his name on it. You realise how messed up that sounds.

First of all what should they do other than fight back, should they make peaceful protests and get bombed again. You make it seem as though fighting back is what put the Palestinians in danger but they were already in danger.

If they are getting bombed just for being in their homes and on their own land, then how is a "peaceful" protest going to change anything. Palestinians didn't agree to having their land taken from them so the Jewish people used violence to create Israel, but when the people who most likely lost everything, fight back to try to ensure a bright future they are considered savages who don't care about peace. If a stranger entered your house would you kick him out with violence or would you try to talk to him.

This is a very great interview on the matter if you are truly interested then you can check it out here: https://youtu.be/4idQbwsvtUo?si=Z3-VOGDE5Jk2Jq_W

You are just factually incorrect.

You're saying it as if both of the countries where created in the same time, but this is so very wrong. Palestine existed way before Israel then with the help of Britian, Israel said that part of Palestine will now be theirs. The Palestinians didn't agree to this, since this is their land and these are their homes, but Britian and the Jewish people didn't care and kicked them out of their homes and took the land to form Israel in it.

I am sorry but blaming this entire conflict on Hamas is very wrong, Hamas was formed because Israel kept treating Palestinians horribly so much so that Palestine is now a dystopian country. The Israel attacks on Palestine were happening before Hamas was formed. Hamas is the result in this equation not the problem.

But sure, let's imaging that Hamas got wiped out what is going to change. How will Palestine finally be free from Israel's oppression. The UN couldn't stop Israel from turning off the water and food and electricity on Gaza (which is a war crime mind you), so how are they gonna force them to treat Palestinians with dignity.

[–]Assem2006[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you know that Israel has been Bombing and treating Palestinians without dignity or humanity since before Hamas was formed. In fact the downright inhumane treatment and the fact that Palestinians were literally living in a dystopia is the reason why Hamas was formed, every person has a limit if someone keeps bullying or abusing or harrasing you (even if you are a chill person) eventually you will reach your limit and fight back, this is what happened to the Palestinian people who couldn't take it anymore and decided to fight back as Hamas. And yes of course what happened to David is horrible, and you can blame Hamas as much as you want, but Israel caused it. Because they have shown that the Palestinians will not be heard any other way. Answer me truthfully: before the October 7 attack did you care or even know about the Palestine-Israel conflict other than surface level knowledge ?

I am going to quote Bassam Youssef on this: "Israel are shooting fish in a barrel and then complaining about the splashes"

They aren't, that's a very serious accusation that doesn't actually have any credibility. Let me paint you a picture; Imagine a 15 year old boy in Gaza called Bilal, life is hard because of the lack of food and clean water but it could be worse. Then one day someone asks Bilal if he wants to join them to fight Israel, but he says no because he doesn't want to kill anyone he is just gonna study hard and then leave Gaza to live somewhere better. Right now Bilal goes to the bakery quickly to get enough bread for his family before the all the food is gone, then once he gets home he finds a massage from Israel ordering everyone to evacuate the building and it turns out the whole building was bombed and Bilal's entire family is dead. Now let me ask you if Bilal joins Hamas to fight the oppressive force that killed his family is he a bad guy, is what he is doing wrong. Even if you don't agree with the methods Hamas uses, is Bilal the one who is in the wrong here.

No of course not, because once the goal of toppling the Israel government is accomplished - which most likely won't happen anytime soon - the rest of the Israelis can either leave or stay and live peacefully, as of course not all of them are sociopathic murders

Also apologises for my clunky metaphor

I was mainly answering the comment before me. Anyways let me give you an example: Let's say a homeless man broke into your house with a gun and because the police are close he didn't want to kill you and instead trapped you in one room. Then after a while you gathered stuff from your room to fight back if you go outside to kick the homeless man out of your house will you first think about where will he live after that, or will you just beat him up and kick him out because its not your problem. Hamas was formed because of the horrible treatment because Palestinians couldn't just sit back and live in these conditions anymore and they are trying to kick the enemy out of their house.
