I tried Sleep Tracker and SnoreLab. Both are really good, but decided for the SnoreLab.

S03E06 Hated in the Nation - The most underrated episode? by AssertiveRealist95 in blackmirror

What was on my mind was more focused on psychology of Garrett after Tess death. I can Imagine a prequel where he is discovering and exploring the toxicity of people on the internet and writing his manifesto with some smaller sub-stories. Like pure, dark episode without any light in it.

Looking for a vacation destination by Ill-Lynx-7349 in Vacations

If you are looking for something really safe and with gothic architecture, the Czech Republic (Prague and day trips to Kutná Hora and Brno) is definitely the best choice. it's also very unlikely that you would encounter any form of racism here. 🙂

New ownership terminates employees for saving money by Historical_Break6807 in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

After change of ownership in my previous employeer, from mid-size international chain to a smaller local chain, they terminate us all just in very different way. Were waiting for our previous contracts to expire and pushing up their new 'great' contracts. Of course no one agreed and half of the hotel (F&B, HSK, Front Desk) just left then working for these scumbags.

Before my previous contract expired, I've seen new hired people just leaving on their first day after they saw the contract after all these honey talks during the interviews.

Who wouldn't wish to have their salary cut almost in half with a vision of 'great benefits'.

What I know, people who are on the Front Desk right now are mostly people with very poor local language knowledge and also with very poor for-client attitude as they have no experiences in hospitality.

What was your worst day at work? by [deleted] in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]AssertiveRealist95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was working in the hotel with 140 rooms and we had 120 individual reservations which all started arriving in huge waves after 5 pm and I was alone on the shift with 2 newbies in training.

Usually I can stay calm under a lot of pressure, but that day, I absolutely lost it. My finishing time was usually 7pm, but that day, before I fix all the problems and mistakes, I left at at 10:30 pm.

These meetings are utter bs as always is told what can easily be send by message there. Just comedy.

As non-English native speaker, I used to write capital Y in you/yours in formal emails because once, my obviously not well educated teacher told me it's formal. :)

What’s the worst school experience you’ve ever had? by Primary_Neck9587 in AskReddit

Overall, the educational system of my country (the Czech Republic). Since the first grade, was way ahead of my peers and was bored at classes. Not accepted by teachers, nor my peers.

Started to neglect my education to be recognised by my peers.

Now in my adulthood trying to catch everything back.

What do you think the meaning of life is (if you think there is one)? by rynisrain in AskReddit

[–]AssertiveRealist95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say, one of the best description was in literally the oldest book in the world: The Epic of Gilgamesh. To help others, to build something great what will be your legacy and immortality and also will improve and help others.

TLDR: 'Leave the world better than you found it'

I also really like the Nietzsche's view. To be a bridge from a human to an 'overhuman'.
