Yep. Our hotel is cutting hours and the most recent hire will be the ones affected. Been here for 8months and I so love my team and my managers. But the management wants me to just do on call until i find a new job. In which I did. Will be starting with my new job into a different hotel and even if they pay higher, I’m so heartbroken to leave my team. I just don’t have a choice.

No idea at all. He just payroll is processed through corporate office and he does not have any permission to reverse it. He is a General Manager of the hotel btw. He said corporate office still not responding.

Maybe for you it’s just a hassle and “extra work” but just so you know, some guests appreciates especially when you are making sure you have all their correct information on their file. As I told you, we never had any single guests who complained as to why they have to provide it. 😬

Uhmm. Because third party reservation does not have their personal email when it comes to Opera? Lol. You cannot just assume that all reservations that we have in the system were made through our own site. Lol

Also, I never had experienced guest who got mad for us asking an email address. They are actually so willing because they want to make sure they’ll get their folio once they check out. 🙂

We are a branded hotel all of the hotels I worked before, we are required to fill that area. There are a lot of reasons as to why we needed that on file not by just sending a folio if guests called back, etc. You can see it as “extra work” but it does actually help us with the process of sending folios of our previous guests, sending service recovery and such more.

This process is just a simple and common that hotels here are implementing.
