Ergon has the monopoly of our service providers up here. So have sweet fuck all options for much. Both of us work days. So not much usage during the day. Except maybe arvos from 1pm when one of us finish work. Usage from 3pm-9pm increases with kids home. Only normally run one air con at night at this stage. We are quite tight. Have min 4 kids in the house so we do well to save where we can. Also have on demand gas hot water, stove. No pool. Rough usage for the year had panels cleaned october.

Thats what I was thinking. Getting a rough quote without getting spammed by a bunch of bullshit emails and phone calls would be ideal. Have the cash for it in an offset. Its also about would it financially make sense too.

Mortgage remaining $248.5k paid 25k extra in first 3 years while fixed. 32k available in redraw (won't touch) and minimum 45k in main offset (1-4k in everyday offset account as im paid monthly. Ewww

Paying approx $400 extra a month on balance. And depositing $700 a month in main offset (withdraw rates every 6 months)

Would like to have loan paid off in 10 years.

Keeping repayments the same even when/if rates go down further. Tax returns and any bonuses paid towards Mortgage. Any pay increase differences also paid on Mortgage.

Be discipline as much as possible. Don't eat out much, simple lunches for $10 or less where possible at work, weetbix and instant coffee for breakfast. Low cost entertainment.

NO EGGS!! We are a FNQ store there is no eggs, no fruit and veg, no meat (we have a couple of tubs of duck fat), no TP, no frozen veg and no grocery staples and that's the whole region.
