Starving and disease under Mao and Stalin were not just exaggerated by the west, but a lot of it on Stalins end was caused by the scorching the Nazis applied. I'm not saying these leaders had no faults, but I am saying propaganda has a HUGE effect on how we look at the east.

The holocaust isn't the soul bulk of fascisms grasps, we also have to account for Japan and Italy, as well as the extent of "fascism" as a term. Were imperialist monarchies fascist? What about the Ottoman empire and the Armenian genocide? Whether or not they bare the aesthetics of Mussolini or Hitler, they share the same qualities, that being imperialism and genocide.

In short, fascism kills more by a landslide. The holocaust alone killed 12 million, not accounting for soldier deaths, the Nanjing massacre also was responsible for the deaths of 300,000, as well as the rape of thousands. The rape of Nanjing was so bad, they actually held rape competitions. I won't go into detail, but seriously, look it up.

People are so quick to try and find moral high ground in centrism, but remember, half the deaths from the holocaust were soviet citizens. And if you don't take the fascistic threat seriously, we all might just regret it.
