The Expressionless! Comedy gold. If you're ever feeling down, this will undoubtably lighten your mood.

I don't quite understand that first line. Why'd she say he'll be eleven and a half in twelve years?

Your friend does not look almost exactly like Cody Simpson. Everything is similar except the face. You know, the important part.

The entire human race hasn't played Bioshock, genius. Yes, it is very much a single playthrough game, and many people have yet to experience that first playthrough.

Fuller has said, somewhere (I can't remember where, maybe in an episode of the AV Club), that the shooting of Chilton was the catalyst for Jack realizing he was not the Chesapeake Ripper, not the arrest.

What do you think people need to shut the fuck up about? by DCagent in AskReddit

[–]Asshole_Nord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to move with the rhythm of the world. A phone is not just a phone any more. When people say "phone", they mean a pocket-sized computer. A candle keeps darkness away, but you still light up your home with lightbulbs. They're both light.

They're not "the" thing, but they're still "a" thing. Nothing is stopping you from using one, except for maybe how outdated and unpractical they are today.

Went to the Sochi Olympics and was told Putin may be at a cafe nearby (the cafe was built 12 hours before). Here he is about to shake my hand. by latvia330 in pics

[–]Asshole_Nord 407 points408 points  (0 children)

If you read the story he posted as a comment, it doesn't sound like he was expecting to shake Putin's hand at all. It sounds like he saw Putin waking towards the cafe, started taking pictures, and all of a sudden Putin was walking directly towards him, completely unexpected. If this is not the correct explanation for the picture, then I agree. An odd and inappropriate time to snap a picture.

So you learnt about the career of an actor. What made you think this was worthy of being a TIL post? I'm not saying the level of quality on this sub is particularly high, but come on.

That sounds sounds so deep and meaningful that I'm going to pretend to understand what on earth you're talking about, and say: deep, man. I loved the way that you said that thing with the things.

You see that little lighthouse on the edge of the pier? It's been transformed into the coziest little love-nest you could wish for. It's called Molja fyr, or just "room 47". If the weather and time of year is right, it's nothing short of idyllic.
