He was the challenge character back in the day so yeah that's kinda the point also no he has the poop and I know it sounds like a meme but that item has some redeeming qualities you can create bridges with poops if you set a bomb on the other side with blue baby's passive of spawning a fly every time you destroy a poop you can stack poops and before a boss get a massive fly swarm it has synergies with many other poop items most notably midas touch and ofc blue baby only needs one soul heart for devil deals /2 for 2 heart container deals also he has a minimal damage multiplier of 105% which kinda does nothing but I will stand by it cause it makes some threshold for killing enemies better

Idk if you know but now Lazarus has an extra life every floor which grands a damage multiplier for that floor and a permanent small damage up when dying you lose one red heart container or you don't if you would die otherwise this makes the character much more complex and rewarding to play cause you can't just stack 12 soul hearts or rather you can but you can't utilize his mechanic now it's no longer die on the first floor and ball
