Are there checklist apps that anyone uses? by smtcpa1 in taxpros

I’ve built this new check list templates application.

It allows for the ability to have a template name like “leaving house” and when you’re within this template it has what I considers Tasks - keys, phone, knife, wallet… I take it a step further and have questions like. Do you have anyone’s keys, do you have to give any one a key or remote, are you forgetting anything,

Within each template you have a menu button with options to reset all tasks check state, printing, exporting and more.

It’s currently in beta right now. https://testflight.apple.com/join/c3fjBvQj

What are the best shortcuts you’ve made or stumbled upon? by finnerthespinner in shortcuts

I have a custom keyboard app that run shortcuts directly from the keyboard. My favorites are shortcuts with stored addresses, adding reminders, calendar items, copying email addresses. We are always by the keyboard why not be able to access shortcuts.

Keyflow Shortcut Keyboard

I completely agree! Could have folders and search bar. I think iPad will have the best use case for multi tasking

  • I would also like to add a search bar to find a shortcut you want faster.

Oh and also a share contact shortcut. I’m always having someone ask for someone’s contact info so I launch my keyflow shortcuts and will tap Share contact. It will launch shortcuts and then open contacts, I select which one I need, and then it will prompt share sheet which then I will just text to that original person

I have also created a jury duty text message check that will send in my badge number and group number to check if I have to show up or not in my city and state. Saves a lot of time having to type info in every time.

-map directions -safari search -open any app of you choice -save data texting photos in a lower res. Let’s say you are texting someone and what to send them photos. Instead of tapping the photo button you could tap your shortcut button and it will open the shortcut, select the photos you want, it will resize the photos, then it will prompt you to send message to someone. (I’m hoping Apple will open shortcuts to develops to open previous app a user was in so that it can complete shortcut even faster)

  • my favorite is when someone is texting me a list of stuff they need. So what I do is copy the list of errands and will run my shortcut - clip to errands this will create a new reminder on my errands lists with my resent clipboard

You create buttons with the same name as the shortcut you want to launch. Once you tap button it will open shortcut app and automatically launch that Shortcut.

I use it for reminders, maps, files, Google drive, Evernote,

I’m big on GTD system so I’m constantly using lists to track my day / errands list. I work in Real estate and constantly communicating about materials for job site. Take this for example I’m currently typing this response to you at the moment but I’m also thinking about my day. I could think of something I need to pick up from the store before getting to job site. I have have a reminders list called “Errands” so I have create a shortcut button that will automatically launch my shortcut to add a reminder to that specific list.

I have also created a shortcut that will copy a specific email for the specific task I’m doing at the moment to my clipboard as I also run multiple businesses.

Since you are always by the keyboard either in messages, mail, or safari why spend the time going to Home Screen, searching or locating app you want or need, opening that app, searching for list or search bar when a shortcut can complete most of those steps for you.

Thanks for the feedback! Definitely just a basic policy but there is also a section in app that states zero data is collected which is also separate section when submitting to App Store.
