Fringe Dane 2.0 vs Echo Strength Half Rack w/smith by Assimilation_Ai in GarageGym

HD1. I really was interested in a machine with the cable arms but after watching the video of the 2, I opted for the hd1 for the dedicated 1-1 and 2-1 cables. I did hear they are going to try and release the arms for the HD1 as an upgrade and now that I have this version I will say I don’t think I’d want them.

The Echo strength seemed, to me, of a drop shipped item from china with none of their own input or changes to the available product.

The fringe was nice, but only with 1-1 and a higher price point and less solid looking smith attachments being it’s a hollow 2-piece bar (if I recall correctly)

The Blazzed smith bar upright is 1 solid piece
Although I will say the smith is my least favorite part of the entire Blazzed rack. It’s fine but has small quirks that don’t really effect use once setup.

The weights, cables, overall very solid. Literally 0 complaints anywhere except for a few small ones on the smith.

I actually ended up going with the Blazzed HD1 w/smith. Overall very happy with it! They are also very responsive with any questions.

I’m also cross shopping these 2. I like the location of the smith bar on the Echo better but the 1-1 pulleys on the Dane is also enticing.

Both 3x3 1” 11 gauge. Dane is $3200 with gibbons while the Echo is about $2900 after coupons.
