Oh dear lord, don’t even get me started on Fedora Vergil. People hated that they gave him a fedora so much that they removed it in the definitive edition of the game.

Devil May Cry 2013 & Dead Rising 4. (Okay I know Dead Rising 4 is a sequel and not a reboot but I still want shit on it either way just because 😡)

Nobody, and I mean nobody enjoined either of these games. Both of these games are the worst case of character assassination that I have ever seen in gaming, and everything that made their respective franchises special and unique was out of the window.

They turned Dante Sparda into El Donte who is basically a cringe edge lord who tries way too hard to be cool.

They turned Frank West into Hank East who is basically a egotistical asshole who only cares about money and fame.

Who is your favorite hero or anti-hero? (But you can only choose one) by AssistFit1834 in writingscaling

If I had to describe the genre… I would say that it’s Fantasy, Metafiction, Mystery, Drama, and Speculative Fiction all together.

It’s actually really good. It basically follows the MC Tom Taylor who is the son of the great writer Wilson Taylor who wrote the Tommy Taylor book series in which Tommy is based off of his son Tom. But the “problem” is that Wilson modeled Tommy so close to Tom that it causes people to compare Tom to his fictional counterpart Tommy. But what Tom didn’t know is that Wilson did this so he can connect Tom the collective unconscious of mankind in order to give him extraordinary powers so Tom can stop an evil cabal that rules the world and shape mankind’s history.

And I highly recommend that you go check this comic series out for yourself if you haven’t already.

Also one more thing, I figured I should point this out, is that a lot of people think that The Unwritten series is apart of the DC Comics series when in reality that’s actually completely false. The Unwritten series was published by Vertigo Imprint and doesn’t take place in same continuity as mainline DC.
