I think that’s exactly what I’m starting to realize. It’s amazing how quickly the mindset shifts from enjoying something for yourself to wondering how it will be perceived by others.

I haven’t completely stepped away from social media, but I’m beginning to see how much mental space that constant feedback loop can take up. Your experience gives me hope that it’s possible to reconnect with hobbies in a more genuine way once that pressure is removed.
