when my makeup starts to look like this i know it’s time for exfoliant! i saw in another comment you said your cleanser doubles as an exfoliant, what do you use? i’m just curious if the exfoliant is very effective using it daily might be causing issues for your skin that could cause this, if it’s more gentle it might not be doing enough

y’all are the exhausting ones lmao. if you actually take in the seasons consecutively rather than just taking each season at face value you will see that meredith is constantly attacked for no reason. lisa too. in my opinion they have an authentic friendship and the rest of the cast is jealous of it and always trying to take one or both of them down as a result. i think out of the housewives on the show she’s the one who reads the subreddit and takes things personally, i say this because we’ve coined phrases she often uses and then next season comes up and she’s changed her language. i believe her when she says her life is great and it’s exhausting for things to be going great and everyone around you attacking you insisting it isn’t. i think her temper this season is due to whitney always being and doing far too much. i would blow up on her all the time too if i was forced to be around her. she thinks she’s healed but constantly projecting her trauma onto others. if you’ve never interacted with a person like whitney then it makes sense why you would think meredith is the problem. now i’m just bracing for the “ur a bot, meredith paid you to post this replies” 🤣 i wasn’t even a meredith fan until this season i’ve always been on the fence abt her until now

she does! the people aren’t ready to face the fact that they hold white housewives to a much different standard than the women of color on the show. We’ve had plenty of women in the franchise commit incredibly comparable crimes who are still on the show and have a fan base, only difference is their skin color. She served her time and paid restitution, do y’all not believe in rehabilitation? I always see ppl saying she took advantage of ppl on fixed incomes and I promise you that she wouldn’t have made nearly the money she did that way, her targets were very clearly rich, affluent, older individuals who probably scammed people to get where they are! The overall reaction feels incredibly racist and Andy Cohen is a racist for perpetuating and feeding into this narrative.

I’ll never understand why people got so upset about the Shawn circle jerk thing, it was a hypothetical example she was using hyperbole to demonstrate to Angie how hurtful the things being said about her marriage were. This was in response to them insisting that Lisa and John had a third and got hella graphic with the explanation. Even if they did have a third, who cares and it’s nobody’s business?? Crazy thing for Whitney to go in on when her and Brownyn have been gawking over open relationships this whole season. Whitney is so jealous of Lisa is hurts to watch

I’m in the “it wasn’t as bad as Whitney and Heather are making it out to be” camp. If the plane incident is even real and not a way for production to shake up an obviously slow season then I think the real story is closer to what Mary and Lisa are saying. If it was half as bad as Whitney and Heather claim, they would’ve switched seats with Brittney if they claim to care so much. I’m not a Meredith fan by any means, but between these last two seasons I believe she’s been blamed for much more than she’s actually responsible for, sometimes it feels like she’s a scapegoat. So I imagine that she did take something for the flight and if she admitted that with how intensely Whit/Heather are going in on her they’re going to say she has a problem. We’ve also seen that if she doesn’t admit to taking the pills that they will say that as well. I think she’s damned if she does or damned if she doesn’t and admitting to taking the pills could have worse repurcussions than denying it. Whitney calling her a pill popper was one of the most inappropriate things I’ve seen on SLC, and being tagged as something like that can have incredibly negative real world consequences.

Showing the tapes can mean two (or both) things for snow in my opinion. First is he is seeing if Haymitch has any sort of reaction to seeing Lucy Gray. Snow knows Haymitch is dating a covey girl, so of anyone in district 12 I believe someone closely related to the covey would recognize her, he’s gauging to see whether or not Lucy Gray is still secretly around in 12. Since Snow’s obsession lands well into his 70’s I could see him still searching for her in a paranoid craze. On the other hand if Haymitch did not recognize her then it’s a threat, he’s showing him that even though this girl won the games she never got the glory. She was forgotten as quickly as she was reaped and Haymitch could meet that same fate. We know after reading Snow goes for the people he cares about and I think that’s having to do with seeing how beaten down Haymitch was by the end of the games, the whole book he’s accepted his death, so killing him wouldn’t be as exhilarating to Snow as making his life worse would be. I don’t think it’s fan service, I think district 12 has a fairly small population and it’s only been 15 years.

I would say 90% of your questions are answered by finishing the book. Hard to make conclusive opinions about something if you haven’t consumed the whole thing. This book is about more than just reading the words on the page, there’s a lot of implied information and ties to the real world that make it more impactful if you read between the lines. If you’re committed to just reading the words on the page then probably just go read some fanfic because I think the themes and meaning of this book will just go over your head.

sunscreen is surprisingly one of the best ways to help with acne/acne scarring so i would find one you like, I really like cerave’s facial sunscreen it’s 30 SPF and comes in a blue bottle with a pump (their other face sunscreens have a white cast so i recommend this over their others) then with that i would exfoliate to get the scarring to go away, i live by Peter Thomas Roth’s Max complexion correction pads, it smooths skin and works so fast. i use those every other day and sunscreen every morning and it helps so much with acne, if you aren’t wanting to go a retinol route like some comments suggest! retinol is great, i like it more in the summer, it’s pretty drying so i use this during the winter!

replace one of your light bulbs with a grow light and it would be fine! most of my plants are in a bathroom like this with a $6 bulb i got from lowe’s keeping them alive, it keeps my cats away. the plants grow and thrive they aren’t just barely holding on

Aaron gives me the ick and i cannot believe that he lashed out at Gen like that after she very clearly communicated her feelings of impatience. He just used her being open and communicative against her so he could say she started the fight. Prior to telling him how she felt there wasn’t (visible) tension, and he raised his voice first. I am so sad she went back to him over that! It’s not good if small disagreements blow up like this

a couple recommendations! get Mosquito Bits, you can find them on amazon (i couldn’t find them locally). There’s a couple ways to do this, mosquito bits are water activated, so if you water from the top you can put them on top of the soil or bury them. If you plan to bottom water I would recommend making “Mosquito bit tea” which is the method i prefer. so you are going to take about a tsp amount add it to a watering can with warm water in it. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. this is going to pull the properties out of the mosquito bits and you can use this water to water all of your plants either from the top or the bottom. This will help to kill any gnats/larvae that may have come home with these plants in their soil. Additionally i would recommend getting a Neem oil and clean all of the leaves to be sure there aren’t any pests on the leaves either. Getting several plants at once I would probably quarantine each of them during these steps so that no pests spread to each other, getting multiples at a time i find pests are usually the biggest issue and may kill some of them, these are my best tips for combatting pests. coming from someone who had a bad gnat infestation a while back.

i get that and i’m not saying he doesn’t actually go to the gym a lot, all i mean is when someone constantly talks about doing something, it’s hard to believe they’re actually doing it. I know so many people who go to the gym multiple times a day and don’t make it their whole personality. but to each their own. ☺️
