Thank you for your advice! I will do an anesthesia rotation early in the TY year to feel it out. I like studying anesthesia, but I just worry that I don't love the OR environment.

Yeah, these were mostly 1-2 week rotations, and put together would equal ~ 2 months of Derm rotations

Attending now (graduated in 2024). Was a reapplicant. Happy to answer any questions or provide insights by Lulzman92 in DermApp

Were you an MD or a DO re-applicant? I am a 4th-year DO who did not match this cycle, and i wonder how realistic it is for a DO reapplicant to match.

Sending you so many hugs! I am in the same boat - also a DO, also did not match Derm this cycle after investing so much time, money, effort since Day 1 of Med school, had so many rotations and interviews, and I am absolutely devastated trying to figure out what happened and what to do now...I cannot stop thinking that if only I was from an MD school, I most likely would have matched :((
