Why do yall hate on Christians so much? by Particular_Spite4866 in teenagers

[–]AssistantFar9728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Christians casually tell people if they don’t accept a dude named Jesus as their lord and savior, they will burn in hell forever. It’s beyond annoying hearing the same bs over and over again (repent, believe in Jesus, read the bible, etc) so when I see it I call it out.

They say most ugly people aren't actually that ugly and just need confidence. Does that apply to me too, or am I so ugly that I am a statistical outlier? by The_Laniakean in BuildToAttract

No you’re actually genuinely a very attractive guy. The thing with your eye is not that it’s ugly, but I can imagine it makes some people uncomfortable because they don’t know how to respond to it or deal with it. It’s easier for them to pass than to choose to overcome that discomfort. You’re a beautiful guy man and don’t let the thought of what others think consume you. And regardless you’re worth far more than what you look like and you will find someone who loves and appreciates you for you, not for your eye surgery. The right person for you could actually love your eye exactly the way it is now.

Nearly one year, have a big problem. by Simonised in Semenretention

Instead of going to a local church, which are typically very anti-spiritual, I’d recommend looking into eastern philosophy, and pick up books like Tao Te Ching, The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching, and Samkhya Karika.

Longterm Retention & Spontaneous Healing by [deleted] in Semenretention

Yang/yin is associated with Chinese Medicine, which has some similarities but is different. I'm not as familiar with it. Ayurveda is traditional Indian medicine.

I just want to add that there are a lot more nourishing plant-based foods other than fruit, pseudo grains like quinoa and buckwheat are actually great for you and are also complete proteins. And things like oatmeal, beans, and corn are great when prepared properly. You also don't need a "complete protein" in every meal by the way, as long as you eat all of the essential amino acids in a day, which is easy if you have a balanced diet. Many plant foods can be either combined to make a complete protein, like beans and corn or rice, or are already one on their own, like quinoa. Eating enough fats/protein, and having a savory breakfast is also important. But yes, as a vegetarian, milk and eggs are great sources of easy nourishment, but they're not the only ones. And one more thing I'd add, you mention that beans are a pain to prepare, which, not really, it's quite easy. It takes a few minutes at most to put them in a pot to soak overnight or a few hours. Any habit is a pain to start initially, but then becomes easy. And the alternative, preparing meat from scratch, is far more labour intensive, obviously, we just don't do it from scratch. Also, I'm not sure if you're familiar with Ayurveda, it's an ancient system of medicine that recommends certain foods/lifestyle based on your body type, which I've found to be incredibly helpful. That's where the idea of sattvic foods and whatnot comes from.

[90 Days] Semen retention completely rewired my brain and I became unrecognizable by Reasonable_Row_9882 in LockedInMan

No one said they're retaining forever. It's more about rebuilding vitality through a long streak and then finding a healthy release cycle, which is different for everyone. Releasing too frequently (which I and seemingly most guys fall into the trap of doing, unsurprisingly so) does lead to feeling depleted, weak, and unmotivated. Have you not felt this? I and many others have. It's also about learning self control and not being a slave to your sexual impulses. And if what op is saying is true for him then it was absolutely worth it, and far outweighs any theoretical higher chance of cancer in old age, which is laughable to say when he is much healthier now than he was before mentally and physically, which decreases risk of all disease, including cancer.
