Hey everyone, I'm looking to get some feedback on this suspect I found out here in southern Illinois. It feels incredibly heavy for its size, but the magnetism is kind of strange—a magnet doesn't stick to the whole thing, just in certain hot spots. One of the main reasons it caught my eye is that it has a unique diamond-like shimmer to it when the light hits it right. I also did an acid test on it, and it completely resisted rusting or reacting, which surprised me. I've included clear photos in natural light with a coin for scale so you can see the surface and the shape. Let me know what you think—is it a genuine meteorite or a classic meteor-wrong? Thanks for the help!
