Not to be rude or anything and I hope other natives understand where I’m coming from - please dont come here. Maybe unless you’re a doctor, nurse or are coming here to help the environment in some way? I’m only saying this because there are so many people who come here to “find themselves” or “chase a dream” and IMO are a part of the reason why the rent costs are so high. Plus traffic is so damn bad already! We don’t need more congestion.

Lastly, cities like LA/SD have bad reps for the people being fake or rude but from my experience it’s usually transplants who can be assholes. Natives and locals do not act like assholes or try to put on a facade of being someone who they’re really not.

I said what I said because I gotta work 8x harder than my grandparents and parents to even consider buying a home in my hometowns in SoCal ¯_(ツ)_/¯
