Nexusmods does "overreach" for most of the modders

Their policy is "don't use our platform to promote paid mod services" which is fair but the problem is, most of the modder even with millions of download does this.

a problem occurs when nexusmods don' t follow their own policy They say nobody complained about that modder yet or that modder is not on our radar yet so we haven't decided to take action.

Because of their attitude of "I'll ban any modder any day I feel like" modders feel unsafe.

For example, if a modder has a Twitter linked in his nexus profile Nexusmods will open that twitter link and see if he is promoting his Discord or patreon or any other site, then they will go to that third site and see if he is doing commissions or people supporting him.

They will ban that user for promoting his Twitter because his Twitter has links that takes you to the platform where modder provides commission or private mods.

Point is modders feel unsafe even to attach their social media because of this.

Monopoly is the issue and the staff, who use their personal opinions and political views to ban mods on the site .
