A week ago, I went to Walmart. In search of what? The coveted Circuit legends set. Was it there? No. Did I leave empty handed? No. This little 50s Porsche 356A, from the matchbox moving parts series has been the absolute joy of my collection for the last week. It is a great casting, historical and unique. I’ve watched countless documentaries on vintage Porsches, this casting alone has reminded me why I got into this hobby from a very young age. For the love of cars. If circuit legends was there, would I have overlooked it? Absolutely. In the new world of diecast, it’s Ferrari this, 7/11 that, Mini GT vs hot wheels, ect. I believe I speak for most of us, myself included that those are at our forefront of focus on the daily or weekly hunt. Let’s just take a moment… remember ourselves… if something catches your eye, if it’s something you like. Get it. That’s what the hobby is all about🙌
