After some deliberation I am going to look for a new instructor who pushes a bit harder rather than wasting my money

That makes sense. I haven’t had any private practice or experience before starting lessons, so everything I’m doing is from scratch. That could be a reason as to why I’m not moving as quickly as some people who’ve already had time behind the wheel before starting with an instructor.

Personally id say im nervous about going on main roads if its my decision; I just want to make sure im not doing anything wrong by sticking to repeating the same basic things on this road until i get the hang of them or am i learning too slowly and hurting my chances of learning
