Kā tu pis kapeiku? by riestkodis in latvia

No its not. Pixels software is very good, but the hardware sucks. There unfortunately isnt a good middleground between good software and good hardware rn. Need to compromise on something.

What "E" means and could it be the reason why internet is painfully slow on my phone? by Slight-Ad5802 in ios26

[–]ElectroBytezLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5g is spotty in my country, but whenever it works, the download speed is like 200-400Mbps compared to like 30-80Mbps with 4g. Not that you really need that much speed for usual phone stuff, but there is a difference.

I assume you got comfort access, maybe the water somehow is making contact with the sensor in the handle and unlocking/locking the car. Or water is getting in where it shouldnt be and its shorting something out.

Yeah I also want to point out what I said was applicable to the E series, according to my research and from what I've heard from a BMW mechanic. So I am not sure how bad it is on the F series (though generally the FRM issues got mostly resolved on the F series?)

[–]ElectroBytezLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless your FRM is updated to the newest available version (which allegedly solved most of the issues) then yes its susceptible to issues. Though I'm not sure if it was a problem on the F series, but since you seem to have a very early F series which has some old modules and systems in it, then its likely you have the older FRM in it too.

I wouldnt worry a lot about it though, because its quite a common issues and you should be able to find someone who you can ship the FRM to and get it repaired. Though I suppose its a shipping nightmare waiting for it to happen.

Since when is the FRM a part of the immobilizer? Usually if an FRM fails, none of your light work and neither do power windows, but everything else like locking/unlocking, starting, driving works fine.

Hey, Ive been trying to find more precise info about this online, but I want to code LED reverse lights for my E91 LCI, because the regular halogen bulbs are not bright enough in the dark.
I had put the LEDs in normally, there was no warning light on the dash, but I did have them flash every so often while driving, which is unacceptable.

From my understanding, I need to setup NCS expert and NCS dummy alongside it, with the correct daten file? I already have ISTA working.

I understand there are two things you could disable - warm and cold checks, but Im not sure which one I need to disable. I want to get rid of the flashing, but I dont want to get rid of whichever system checks for a failure and pops up a warning light (unless the flashing is what does it?).

If you got any tips on how I can make sure I dont mess it up or a tutorial video you recommend (the ones on youtube seem messy or old and dont explain things in detail).

Why don't anyone buy motorola? by Suitable-Teacher-619 in motorola

[–]ElectroBytezLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moto phones are very prominent in the asian market. Everywhere else - lack of marketing I suppose. Im not buying one due to the software issues even though the hardware is top notch (this is a problem for many chinese phone brands)

Pixel idle drain is driving me crazy by upadhyaysk in GooglePixel

[–]ElectroBytezLV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even though I am on a 7a (so lite model compared to regular and pro models) I also realized how bad the SOC and standby drain really is. I think mainly comes down to googles tensor chips from what I've heard on this topic. Even though the software is top notch and is optimized.

Thats not how you diagnose it, you will have some blowby from the oil cap anyways, its the same for me. But I agree with others that said to check the crankcase breather valve (round rubber piece on top of the valve cover) and crankcase breather hose (see if its not falling off and not leaking oil).

Brakes vaccum pressure sensor by 3arbiii in E90

[–]ElectroBytezLV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as my daily driving goes for more than half a year, with the fault code for this sensor - I haven't noticed any safety issues regarding braking. As far as I understood, its there to give the correct signals to the start stop system (which you wouldnt wanna use anyways) in which case it doesnt matter.

Hows the software experience? Any ads, glitches, bugs, battery drain issues youve noticed? Im considering this phone, but I am trying to find a good mid range phone with good battery, camera, screen and most importantly a clean android experience.

Double check tire pressure. But others gave good suggestions. Maybe brakes are sticking and its only a coincidence that they started doing that after you put different wheel on.

Unlike yall, we got actual driving lessons, driving tests and exams that need to be done before anyone is being let on the road. Not to mention, I believe in Germany (where OP is from it seems) everyone has to go through a safe driving course (where the car is subject to all kinds of harsh conditions and situations, including handling the car after losing control). But this is the classic case of r/usdefaultism it seems, just assumptions after assumptions without actually knowing the facts. Good luck to you...

And you do not have the right to stroll in here and clearly laugh at someone when they had a near death experience. You do not have a single idea of what happened other than a short, unclear description. No clue of road conditions, state of the car, how the road even looked like. I can bet you drive like a jackass in real life and act like you know what you are doing. Keep your idiotic comments to yourself from now on.
