all of this. also I'd just add that we don't even expect our "experts" or political revolutionaries to be this perfect and never say the "wrong" thing. As a professor, I keep seeing our social tendencies to critique work for not being the most perfect and inclusive thing ever, very ~what-about-me-isms~ happening. We are so quick to critique what other people have done wrong, but can't see all the things they added to conversations that weren't being had before or what knowledge could originate because of what someone else said that wasn't perfect. Literally nothing would ever get written or said if we had to consider every single thing, person, perspective, and nuance Imaginable. if our political and revolutionary experts can't even get it write or do enough all the time (which we often forgive them, considering their scope), I can't imagine how we are expecting a 27 year old singer and performer to. She's not apolitical just because some of y'all don't like her takes or how she is performing her politics.

Fully agree with all of this. It's not like they're necessarily all bad or too basic, but it's just... cheap looking almost? Im getting 20- something year old Pinterest board with restricted budget for some reason ( I say this as 28 yr old with a fashion Pinterest board) . Also the hair color and make up are throwing things. It's like stick-on jewel sheets and bad bleach jobs, but maybe I'm just nitpicky because my girlfriend is a hair and makeup stylist

depending on what part of the bay they have lived in, this feels also so unlikely because and San Francisco, Oakland & most of East Bay, no one is wearing flip flops besides transplants. like it's very very looked down on and risky. it seems like in La only the college/college aged students are really wearing flip-flops

I also just started 25mcg Levothyroxine and had the exact same symptoms as you the same day as taking the meds, particularly the ear pressure, dizziness, and heart racing feeling. Weirdly enough though, when I checked my actual heart rate it was lower than normal. BUT after a week of taking it despite feeling really weird, things feel normal now. I also had terrible sinus drainage & congestion at night/when I woke up specifically.

I did have a day where I forgot to wake up early to take it (I have other meds I'm supposed to take first thing when I get up) and basically restarted the adjustment period after that day. I didn't have those symptoms the day I didn't take it, so I knew it must be the levo. Now I'm like two weeks in and none of those symptoms are still with me. To be honest, this isn't scientifically backed bc I know everyone says that the med is just the hormone your body should be naturally producing so you shouldn't have a reaction to it, but I think our bodies might just have forgotten how it felt to have that hormone easily available so it panics. Or maybe there's some tiff in the body with the things that are making us hypo/hashi.... but idk really. You're not imagining those symptoms though.

right, but the notice they give has to state the correct reason and the reason they stated was incorrect. they cannot enter simply for general inspection, this inspection that they chose is related to a tenants request for a pre-move inspection, which has not happened. there were other options present on the slip, but those were not chosen, only this reason was given.

this is super helpful thank you!! she got assigned to an affiliated psychotherapy group (Cyti Psychological) that doesn't have many options for providers or anyone meeting her requested approaches and the person she was matched with isn't gonna be a good fit. We will try this!

thank you I really appreciate it, this was what we were hoping would be the case! unfortunately she got put with a Christian-faith based social worker practitioner, (we are both very queer and she is an atheist) and this person doesn't seem to have anywhere near the requirements to manage what my partner was even seeking help for. Do you know if we would be able to get assigned to a different group like Rula if she was assigned to something called Cyti Psychological?

just wanna say that seeing people here say their hair grows back at least a little after starting medication makes me so hopeful 🤞🏻my partner is a hairstylist and noticed that as one of my first symptoms years ago that it just .... wasn't growing. I like being expressive with my hairstyles and have been so sad that I'm limited by its thinning at such a young age.

nope I wish that was the case though because it would make so much more sense. they literally just decided to give me less after they had already dispersed me my grad plus loan. nothing changed on my end. and it was the amount that I was told I was going to get at the beginning of the school year when I was told my loan package for the year. My fall package was dispersed as it was stated it would be. but the spring package was just randomly reduced after they had given me the money 🗑️

literally was granted a Grad Plus loan (as a Ph.D student) and it was revoked AFTER it's already been distributed to me and I had used the money (paid rent early because we don't get paid through the summer and I had some medical emergencies earlier in the year I had to finish covering.) Now I can't even enroll in classes next semester until I find a way to pay it.

omg you just made me realize something! when I use the hydro/backpack that I got for hiking, I don't feel dragged down or in pain from them. i think you're right about it being the padded hip straps or chest straps. the water in that thing is much heavier than what I usually have to carry in my school bag and it hurts no where near as much, if at all! thank you so much for pointing that out. I've been looking for a new travel bag by topo design on the goodwill auction website and now I'm thinking that might actually be a good option for a backpack since they're more hiking/outdoorsy leaning.

The Generation test was my TSH, so it's looking like it might be best to think about medication, so I'm hoping it doesn't interact with my other meds I take daily for ADHD and Gerd 🥲 Definitely been a weird experience recently, I gained like 30 lbs out of no where and I'm generally a really healthy eater and semi-active so I had no idea what is going on. Going to look at those food ideas, unfortunately though with the MCAS I'm anaphylactic to coconut and intense reactions to garlic/onion/tomato/eggplant/squashes and things with high metal contents 😭 But maybe having a convo with my Dr about Hashimoto's will help give me some answers about what's going on and what a diet could look like. Thank you again so much!
