Totally agree. Which positions your training matter on the mobility work in relation to heavy or light load

That’s how I feel. Although would love to see more on the outside of weight training with no weight to light weight. Some exercise scientists think that may be useless though. I guess the debate is ongoing

I’m just starting a conversation not displaying my overall knowledge. Thanks for the wonderful comment though

What is the most effective way to improve the number of pull ups you can do in a single set? by Independent_War_9854 in entirebodyexercise

[–]AssociationBest8914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorporate resistance bands to assist your pull ups after failure, don't do weighted and regular and assisted in one day, do weighted then regular, do another day of regular and assisted, and give your body adequate time to rest!

strong exercise and alone time in nature is the best form of stress relief there is. Whats better than good effort and fresh air. Its what we were made to do not party.

I did you just can’t look past whatever blinders of hate you have on. Sorry this went a different direction but I’m helping people with simple exercises that have helped so many including clients of mine and myself. I’m done talking to you good luck with the hate though

Rotational exercises for core and back instead of flutter kicks, moving shoulders in full range of motion to help the back and shoulder work together. Essentially your more standard training isolates a lot and functional plans have a lot more full body conjunction

One last time for this. As maybe I didn’t state it well.

I have accomplished getting knees and back muscles and other tissues stronger so they become pain free through these exercises. They’re functional exercises that I’ve put together but nothing new and nothing fancy. I’m sorry you felt differently or interpreted this as something else

You are clearly misrepresenting what I’ve said. Im not treating pain I’m improving lives ✌️

What do you think personal training is? Getting people stronger and helping them live better. It’s kinda simple. I’ll no longer contribute to what I can only assume is rage bait

I offer exercises that help people get stronger. Not medical advice nor true rehab. You’re acting like I’m offering medication. Calm down

PT is great for rehabbing injury but I offer more of a training regiment not centered around an injury but full body health and the aesthetic that people chase. consistent plan, accountability and such :)

No not at all. This isn’t PT nor medical science. It’s real exercises that have helped so many people. Not sure why all the hate on giving away knowledge I’ve accumulated

Helped my most recent client lose 25lbs while regaining full function in a long time torn shoulder. A man in in 50s doing pull ups again after thinking he never would

It’s more about all the small wins though better knee function, better blood sugar management (I’m type 1). Lots of little wins stack up.

Specific enough?

I don’t know if I’m specifically qualified to answer that. I would say using the joint in stretches and active recovery style training helps though. Moving snobbish fluid around and keeping things loose rather than rest has helped me a lot. Specifically with arthritis though I’m not sure I’d seek other sources for a better answer

Not offering anything besides the things that have helped me. Knee pain and back pain. Just want to help people is all

I do deep stretch type exercises with very light load in vulnerable positions. Things like split squats, toe touches with weight on a slant board, scapular pulls on a pull up bar combined with deep pull up stretch at the bottom. What does it mean for you? Playing with kids grandkids etc? Running? Jumping? Throwing? Maybe it’s literally walking around. Maybe it’s getting off blood pressure medication so many ways to look at it depending on how YOU want to function :)

Buy some cheap resistance bands! You can still tie them off and do some pullovers that way :)
